So I'm understanding that the FP5 have the exact same sound, ANC/ambient & battery life etc as the fp8/9. They only lacking the plug & play, wireless charging & the UV features. Is that right? I should just get the fp5 if I'm not concerned about those extra features?

Hi, quick question regarding overall sound quality , since FN6 and FN7 are similar, and FP5 similar with FP8 (discarding the feature like uvnano/wireless charging/ANC) between FN6 and FP5 in the same price, which one do you recommend?
@@SpardasTechReviews Ouch, already ordered the FN6, here it has same price as FP5 (arround $32) with more feature. Is the sound quality difference really big between FP and FN series?
@@easonliu2968 I have FN7 as daily driver. It sound similiar to airpods pro when you're setting equalizer to bass boost, but less sound stage. So, the answer is definitely yes.
You can use an fp5/8 case, but at that point it would be best to just use the ear buds that came with the case rather than trying to charge earbuds that weren't designed for it.
why do you think so? i could get the fp7 pretty cheap 2nd hand. the fp9 have a better sound/noise cancelling. so why not using them ;) isnt it the same case anyway?

I also have an issue with whatsapp. Although unlike your issue, mine actually tell me when I get a message. But instead of telling me the message, it just says message from whatsapp by whatsapp and it ends there. With regular messages it tells me the message. I'm assuming it needs a software update to fix the issue with whatsapp and other apps installed from the play store
I'll check I think it's just certain apps just don't have the full readout. Twitter and Google chat do it for me no problem it could just be a WhatsApp thing

Yeah their sheet showing what all 3 of the earbuds are capable of is so low res it doesn't make sense at all. Lol
I just ordered the fp8's. The plug in wireless feature of the fp9's are cool, but I would use wireless charging a lot more often.

The tips are different and also fit on the earbud differently so I don't think fn7 tips would work all that well on the fp9

The fp series overall does everything the fn7 did just better imo. So the fp5 would be the better bet especially for the battery life as well.

I switch my Samsung buds pro for the fp8 and they are really good.
Just One complaint is that you cant activate the ambient sound whid just One earbud
Imho at that point just take them both out of your ears

No. The fp8 has a thicker case. You'd have to get a new one

If you want more battery, smaller stem, and a more comfortable design I'd go for the fp9

It's the exact same. They're identical in terms of the earbuds and capabilities it's just one has wireless charging and one has the plug and wireless.

It's strange that my FN7 have UV nano and blue led thing in it. Maybe each region have different version, I'm at Asia btw.

Honestly the 3d sound is just best left for movies on the fp9. Since there isn't content optimized for lgs version specifically
