Are you selling print on demand notebooks? 👀 If so, let me know where you are selling them!
Top G, selling notebooks, please more videos like these for non designers.
Amazon dude
My favorite product :) happy seeing my passion for pod notebooks is not only my own :)
Absolutely! You are the notebook master! haha Glad you liked and checked out the video! There are so many opportunities to make some great notebook designs using Kittl, and I'm excited to make some more tutorials for the different platforms! 🙌
I loved this tutorial! I'm seriously considering starting an etsy shop for journals. I have SO many ideal for different types of notebooks. And to answer your question, lately I've leaned towards hard back notebooks, but I also love spiral. Thank you for sharing these tips!!
Nice! Thanks for the feedback and hope your Etsy shop gets up and running!
Another great tutorial, thank you. I love notebooks; soft, hard, spiral - the lot.
Thanks for watching! And glad to hear you like any kind of notebook! That's good info!
Hi I love all notebooks - but unlined is my fave as I want freedom to write or draw 😆 thank you for another wonderful tutorial.
That's a great reason! haha unlined gives you the freedom to write wherever you want to!
I like both😊
Glad to hear it!
Definitely a hardbound journaller! It is a bit harder to put in a bag or backpack but you don't need a hard surface to write on. :-)
Ahh! I see the value in that for sure! I do have some nicer hardbacks I keep at the house!
Beautiful result. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome
Glad you liked the tutorial!
Thoughts are free
It’s the title of the German folk song
Die gedanken sind frei
The song was used in anti-Nazi resistance movements & was just featured on 1899
Netflix series!
soft cover. I agree
Nice! I do like the other styles, but soft cover seems to win for me every time!
I am watching as many videos as I can about KDP. I understood everything you said except that I cannot find where to save it to and how to get the right size to be able to download the cover into BookBolt and it be correct. How do you know what size to make it for softcover or hardback and the size of the notebook you want to make? Is there a video on this? I can’t find any on BookBolt either if you’re using a different design program. Thanks for the info. This video did help a lot.
All great questions! We were just using one predetermined size for the cover that we found online via the print platforms specifications, so this is all going to depend on what the provider wants you to use. BookBolt must have a tempalte with sizing they want you to use for the cover, and you can use those dimensions to set your artboard size in Kittl. We can do more videos on sizing soon.
Oh my goodness the beautiful! Would you mind slowing down your tutorials a little bit? I can’t keep up with what you’re doing sometimes and have to rewind several times whilst zooming in. Would be very much appreciated 🙏
Hey there! Sorry this tutorial was too fast, however, we do our best to make them in the medium range time wise, otherwise they would be over 25 minutes long and might not be practical time wise for most of our viewers. However! You can certainly slow down the play speed in youtube to make the video slower, and you can always come over in the Discord for extra help on your projects! We'd love to help you there and clarify anything you didn't understand. Our Discord support reps are eager to help!
What kind of printer, and paper do you need for this? I’m very interested!
Hey there! Many people are utilizing print on demand, which will take care of the printing for you! You can check out solutions like Printful, Printify, or Gelato to see the types of notebooks they offer and order a sample!
Can I use this for Bookbolt, by creating journals and notebook covers for KDP? I like making my own journal interiors with a lot more pages.😊
Hey there! As long as it is a physical end or digital end product, then yes! You cannot resell Kittl design elements for digital use, such as vector files. :)
@@Kittldesign Cool!
Spiral, and hard
Nice!
too fast to understand anything.
Sorry to hear that! We'll produce some videos that are slower paced.
I guess it doesn´t work for free subscribers, you must adjust it in ps or illustrator
Hey there! You can do everything in this tutorial with the free account, with the exception of maximizing your arboard size, and exporting vector project files. You still have access to all of the images, elements, and fonts in Kittl. Hope that clears things up!
This is great, I've been using Canva for my POD notebooks but want to use Kittl more. if we are using free elements or templates do we attribute kittl somewhere on our designs due to licensing rules? Thank you@@Kittldesign
Poor instructions to use kittl.
What could we do better?
