@@Kittldesign I just got back to this today, and found the pattern styles were there, without having to change versions. BTW, I'm looking to design some Hawaiian shirts with this feature. However, not your usual Hawaiian shirts as there are tons of them for sale already with just tropical plants, flamingos, etc. These will be different so it'll be fun experimenting with AI. I LOVE kittl BTW
I’m looking forward to trying Kittl to see how it can be applied to textile art. This could include designs printed on fabric or paper and incorporated into textile collages. Or to see if the program can be used quilt patterns.
I tried that too and the pattern is not seamless repeat, will kittl update to make tile pattern to create seamless repeat? That would be amazing if it can be done. Thanks
Love your stuff. Can we make seamless patterns from these and how on kettle. I can see maybe downloading and using another program but kettle is just so amazing...
I was playing with this the other day as I wanted to put repeating patterns on a few items, but I noticed these don’t repeat…so you can only use 1 tile. Is there a way to produce repeating patterns?
Hey there! You can provide more context in the prompt like that, but it's generally quite hard for AI to create a seamless pattern all of the time. However, we are working on our own seamless pattern builder that will alleviate this! Coming in the future!
Great vid, will make me subscribe. I’ve been learning surface pattern design and will use this for fabric to print. Is it possible to separate elements at all? Or would I have to add each one in order to edit them separately in order to repeat seamlessly. Thanks
Hey there! We aren't entirely sure what you are asking, as a pattern generated with Kittl AI is one piece, and can't be separated. However, if you use a variety of our illustrations/elements/and icons to create a pattern in Kittl, then you can of course move things around.
I know I'm late in watching this video, but I'm looking on how to create 3D patterns. Your video didn't explain what prompt to use for this, but I've been trying out the "free" ai and have found a few ways to accomplish them, I think. Does your AI do 3D patterns, such as flowers?
Hey there! We will look at doing some more pattern tutorials in the future and actually working on a pattern generator tool of our very own. In terms of 3D patterns with AI, this will all come down to the specific presets being used, and the style and type of prompt that you use. We will try and work on adding a 3D specific pattern style in the future.
Hey there! Pro subscriptions get 20 AI credits per month, and they regenerate on the day that your subscription was created (for example, the 10th or 14th, or whatever day of the month). Expert gets 100 monthly AI credits. And we are working on a way for users to top-off their credits whenever they want in the Expert plan.
i only have 4 pattern types to choose from with pro version. i wanted to create textures but is that gone? Also, if using textures from kittl to make a design can you still use that for selling digital? I know fonts you can use, but NOT elements from them for digital.
Yes! We have updated our version 1 and 2 models of Kittl AI, so they have different presets that we believe are the most effective for the models we've built. However you can still make textures with Kittl AI, there is no preset, but you can leave the selection off (don't select a preset), and simply add the keyword on to the end of your prompt along with "texture" and it will generate it for you! For example, "a dark pavement texture" will render what you need. :)
I'm trying to figure our how to create patterns and right from the beginning, "going down to pattern styles" I'm not seeing pattern styles under AI generated art, I see clipart styles, vector styles, image styles, but no pattern styles. Is this feature on a more advanced plan than Pro?
Hey there! This is because we released Version 2 of the AI, to get back to AI V1 which has the patterns, you can click on the Cog wheel right above the prompt box and select "V1" which will bring back the original styles. :)
How would you download the tile so that it can be used. Do I have to copy n paste it into a new canvas? That’s not allways foolproof bc you can’t be one pixel off. Did I miss something?
@@Kittldesign So, if we have created a pattern in a 5000 x 5000 artboard, could we then scale the actual pattern inside this size of the artboard; so meaning we could change the actual pattern scale larger or smaller, that way we wouldn't have to increase or decrease the size of the artboard. Hope that makes sense? 🤩
This will depend largely on what you are trying to do with the finished work. If you need a large file, then yes you need to upscale the artwork. We are working on providing our own upscaling feature soon.
I experimented to try to recreate a similar sleeping dumplings cute pattern, but the results I got were very different. I get it that no two users will get the same results, but mine was not cute and was not dumplings, just some weird shapes on the page. Why would my results be so wildly different to yours when putting in identical prompts?
Hey there! Yes, it is unlikely that you would get an extremely similar result to mine, and it does take some iteration to get exactly what you want. I would try adding the style of dumpling you want (for example) or maybe "siting on a plate" etc. to get more specific, so that the outcome is not so different. We are currently working on all of the presets one-by-one, so you should see some massive improvements in the coming days. 🙏
Hey there! You can try Kittl AI even on a free subscription, as you have 15 one-time use credits to use, and all you have to do is select one of the pattern styles from the Kittl AI pattern category.
Hey there! We recently released V2.0 of Kittl AI, and the pattern style is in V1.0, which you can go back and turn on using the cog wheel above the prompt box. :)
Hey there! To get back to Gen 1 with patterns, you can click on the little Cog wheel in the top right section above the prompt box, and click Gen V 1, and the patterns section will return.
There are four pattern models only at the moment? Not as many as shown in the video or the other one you made? Tbh, the four available models don’t create a good outcome, I spent hours on trying to create some and they came out really bad, even with the most simple prompts.
Yes generating a seamless pattern in AI is generally quite difficult. But! We are working on our own seamless pattern builder for Kittl right now, which will come out in the future, so definitely stay tuned!
Thank you for your videos. Waiting for seamless pattern repeat.
Thanks for the feedback!

Hey there! Still in the works, but you can upvote on the project here: feedback.kittl.com/feature-requests/p/seamless-patterns

would like to use these patterns for T-shirts , mugs wall art, etc

Hey there, if you are talking about seamless patterns, we are working on a tool to do this.
Could we have the option to scale the pattern once created please?

@@Kittldesign So, if we have created a pattern in a 5000 x 5000 artboard, could we then scale the actual pattern inside this size of the artboard; so meaning we could change the actual pattern scale larger or smaller, that way we wouldn't have to increase or decrease the size of the artboard.
