Tania deserves to be recognized the way Sania Mirza, P.V. Sindh and all other athlethes are celebrated and acknowledged for their performances and titles. She earned that for herself and for her country not once but many times. A true gem ❤
Only today I got to know Tania is 1986 born, 1 day earlier to me. I thought she must be between 25 to 30. But she is 38 ...... She is superb anchor, nice player. Good to know🎉🎉

Her style of commentary is actually really unique tbh and she looks really young for a 38 yo!
I have seen that in general in chess world people troll the ones who like fashion and look good at the same time. Divya is just 18 and she is facing unnecessary trolling or backhanded compliment. Same was with Alireza Firouza. People just can't accept that someone good in chess can look good and also have a fashion sense.

@@abhisen6745all the chess prodigy are playing, travelling and winning tournaments since their age is in single digit & most likely that makes them more mature that other people in same age category. She has won in under 7,under 9,under 12 (in one video of 2017 with Sagar she is telling all shr one, she must be 11 then so probably that was after she won under 12 National tournament & she looks 11 in that one). She played and won Junior Championship this year. Also she doesn't behave like 25.She is a jolly, extrovert happy girl and at most she behaves like early 20s.Watch her interviews with Chessbase India, she acts her age. In other interviews or on board they act serious.

Tania surprised me this Olympiad. Some people would criticise her while she's commentating that she's losing her presence on board. Others are there to just comment on outer appearance or voice. But she proved to everyone that she can play and win tough games. I find that inspiring as a woman myself ❤

I guess we were meant to not win Chennai Olympiad because it was not the strongest one as mighty russia n china both were absent... And here we made a clear statement by winning gold and beating China in both sections!!

@@georgethomas5688 it was the online olympiad. Everyone used to dress casually, cause it was online, but Divya used to come dressed up in full suit. She was just 14 too, so it was pretty cute and she earned herself the nickname, CEO. Plus she speaks like one as well.
