Pretty sure when he said voice he didn't just mean speech wise, or literally his voice. He means his Freddie's way of performing, his spontaneous and erratic movements on stage. Actions speak louder than words and Rami did a pretty damn good job of recreating that.
So much salt. I do wish Rami would go on Ellen and actually sing. There's a clip of him singing on TV, but he was clowning around. I'd like to hear him actually trying. But I'm sure the producers have given him a script to follow and part of that is probably not singing in public as Freddie, would "spoil the magic" I guess. I hope someday Marc and Rami will record a bit where they sing together, for real, in the same room. That would be so fab. Mixing the imagery with a sound uncannily similar to Freddie was definitely award winning movie magic.

It'd be curious to hear Marc's version, since they'd have him recreate the sound of Live Aid (at least Bohemian Rhapsody and Ay-Oh).
