Hello Jordan please put sales script. People will get an idea what to speak over cold calls. As most of the person don't take the cold call seriously, and it destroy everything whatever you have planned to deliver your pitch to other
Biggest tip: was taught this years ago when speaking to people but “no one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care” have an actual desire to help their business not just a paycheck
One of the best diffusers is 'Have I caught you in the middle of anything?'. It respects their time, is not pushy and works 99% of the time. They either say 'no, that's fine', 'yes but I have a few minutes', etc. Very rarely do they fob you off.
I really like this. In my experience acknowledging their objection and deflecting by asking if they have 30 seconds for me to explain the reason I was calling in the first place as it might save me from calling again. It normally puts them in a position were 30 seconds seems completely worth you ever ringing them again lol
what helped me was when you said adopt a "fuck it mentality, whatever will be will be", I think that helps gets rid of the pressure we put on ourselves.
My biggest tip is to let them know that the scheduled meeting is 100% free with no obligations and that if they do not wish to proceed after meeting that's absolutely fine, that my main objective is to give them as much value as possible in a meeting. Jordan your an absolute legend, hope one day we can meet.
My first sales role I was 16. I was trembling with fear every, single, call - I could barely string a sentence together without crumbling and forgetting my sales script (it was literally a script) - I had a chat with my manager one day and he told me to create urgency, call them and tell them these memberships are selling like "hot cakes" and if you want one, then get it while you can. I picked up the phone and told one of my Opportunities that "these cakes are selling fast and they're hot so if you want it come and get it"........ 😅😂😂😂😂😂 That line along with my trembling voice fell flat on its arse. Long story short I was sacked later that day. I'm 32 now and still in sales, that experience didn't put me off but I've definitely learnt the importance of being selective about what you're selling.
As a new business administrator at my current company, I must confess that cold calling has been a challenge to me lately. I am so excited to come across these useful tips. Thanks alot Jordan.
My hat is off to you. I've been in sales for most of my life and cold calling for the last six years. With close to 10,000 cold calls and counting. This is the most valuable cold call video I have ever seen. I encourage anyone that's in cold calling sales to take this video to heart. Just applying these techniques will create loyal customers and will put thousands of dollars in your bank account. I have seen so many so-called sales gurus on RUclips that don't even scratch the surface of what needs to be done on a cold call. They are all full of emotional hype with no substance. Thank you for restoring my faith in the fact that there are real men out there that know what they are talking about and are being responsible on what they post.
My manager sent me your video on my first day at work. So worth it! I typically comment on videos at what point the author of a video actually begins the valuable portion of content in their video (rambling is the worst!), but I have watched this all the way through and I highly suggest everyone else coming here absolutely watches it all the way through! Worth every second of the 23 minutes :D
It's really important to keep going even if one gets rejected by the business, it's more about the journey and not about the destination. If one like want he does, automatically the destination comes to him.
Great tip! It's a numbers game. Don't feel downhearted that, that particular business didn't want your product or service, feel sorry for them that they are letting go of the amazing opportunity to work with you. It's all mindset, do whatever you need to do to get you through your daily call goal. Then repeat the next day, learn as you go :)
My biggest tip would be to "act as if" when you're on the call, and for that matter when you're doing anything related to your business! You want to act as if you already have the success which you desire. This will carry over (much like the smiling tip you gave) into your activities and give the businesses on the other end of the phone the impression that you are a successful company whom they would benefit from doing business with!
What would you advise if you’d literally call your first potential clients, and basically have no real understanding about paid advertisements, other than some videos I’ve watched. It feels like I would do more harm than good if I’d pretend to know it all

I haven't done any cold calling (yet!) but usually when I'm trying to do something I'm not comfortable doing I try to put it in a larger context of time and space. Trying to tell myself that 'even if this doesn't go well and I end up being embarassed or shrugged off etc' just imagine that 200 years from now both myself and the other person will be long gone, everyone we ever knew will be long gone .... so none of this really matters. This phone call won't live forever in anyone's memory either, whichever way it goes. This 'remember the void' is a tool that can give you a major depression if you overdo it lol, but it can give you great courage and confidence.
Great video Jordan, My biggest tip would be to get your tone of voice correct. On a cold call they can’t see you so your voice is the most powerful tool to communicate your personality & body language. Also to always smile when your on the phone helps with the mindset. Loving this series!
I was panicking because I am about to start my cold calling from tomorrow but this video has been really helpful and has definitely given me a confidence boost. Thanks.
After like 10 calls on a automatic Dialer I’m good 😂 I don’t care what they say they are getting an appointment or giving me a credit card 💳 or hanging up 🤩
Thank you for this...to be honest, I am stress with my job and intimidated...because of the objections that I received and I am an introvert person... I did not produce well in our company.. There are times I want to quit..but thanks to your video I was motivated and you gave me lots of ideas how I can handle the calls and I really need to relax..because a lot of times I am stress and I bring that stress to my job.....thank you so much
same! Embrace the suck. I focus on mindset a lot. If you believe in yourself (do the right thing!) and have great products you BELIEVE in...the sky is the limit. referrals referrals referrals!!
Personalise your outreach if its email you could ask a question about the product. If its a cold call keep it simple and short with a positive tone. Tonality is important
Best tip would be to have a list of what you would like to talk about but not an entire script. So you'd still sound conversational and stick on the goal. This will help you avoid just memorizing and reading thru the script
I just started a cold Calling Job today and I didn't expect to have like 70+ rejections in a row. I have not made a single appointment on my first day and I have started to feel very depressed. This helped me a bit somehow. I guess the problem for me is that, everytime I try to sell something (Even when I had to sell sweets in High school for home Ec.) I always think like I'm scamming somebody because I was raised in a household that is skeptical of business transactions. My parents taught me that everyone is always trying to rip me off with sumthin. After watching a bit of this video I decides to take a quick breather and remind myself before I call "I'm doing this to help them" 3x and if they don't need the service my company offers I give them the best greetings because that means they're company is doing well so I should ne happy for them..
Key take aways 1. Objection is not an objection it is more information in need. 2. Make them feel very comfortable. 3. You should know what your going to say if you have objections 4. Understand you have nothing to lose. So no regrets 5. Keep doing it again and again same shit everytime. How to prepare yourself 1. Locate yourswlf quiet room 2. Use your hands when you try to talk. 3. Breathing affirmations always breathe
The biggest and what i believe is the most important tip to cold calling, is telling yourself you have nothing to lose, just be yourself and talk, if the answer is no, it doesn't matter end of the day you did what you intended to do. This though needs a thick skin and lots of self love
Try to sell the meeting instead o f the product/service, and as you say build a relationship...Is the same case when you're hiring a person, you'll hire the person which you felt trust! Thanks for this video Jordan!

Biggest tip: Be genuinely prepared. Both for the meeting itself and knowledge-wise to provide the specific business with actual results. Great video Jordan & finally an ex-sales professional, successful in SMM, is doing a series on cold calling. Yes please.
Thank you so much for your content. This was sooo helpful! I am excited to implement your advice. Tomorrow I'll be cold calling with a mindset shift - make it fun! Objections are a request for more information!
I own a media agency, and i have only recently started cold calling. Around 3 days now. I never found it nerve wrecking at all. I actually enjoy the challenge. If someone one does not want my services i just move on. I just think of it as a game. Already booked my first meeting.
@@el1zar497 Haha naw I gave up on this after a week or two. I think cold calling works well for some people, but not for me. I hated it. But I definitely found my own path with something else. I'm doing well!
I've listened to a couple of videos where people teach you how to cold call and I really like your method the best I think I'm going to use it for letting these managers know what type of business I'm in and what I have to offer thank you for the video
Biggest tip: To understand your personal and your business' why. Frederick Nietzsche put it simply "He who has a why to live can bear almost any how" Simon Sinek goes into more detail in his speech, start with why in which he repeats the phrase "people don't buy what you do, they buy why you do it"
1. Always try think positive. 2. Put effort into the prospecting. Make them feel like you have made effort and call them. 3. Have a sales script 4. Be an actor. Change as per people. Voice matters. Go with your tone.
I am an introvert and I have been in sales position for years. So I enjoy this video very much :) I have implemented these strategies as well. And my mentor has also advised the same thing when I was a newbie: adopt a fuckit strategy and stop stressing before you talk to someone
Bro it feels like u talking to me face to face. I opened AI agency and yesterday when I was making call, my heart was pounding man. I couldn't continue so had to stop and haven't made anymore phone calls. Thanks for your information man.
Hi Jordan, this is the first time I watched your video. I got a motivation by the way you explained and made me feel like I could do it. I recently joined a company that does deal with customs clearance, Transportation and warehouse services. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with the cold call script for selling this service.
Great tips and it would be cool if you made a vid about scrips and it's true my first 10 calls were so scary and I literally wrote in my notebook and read off of it like a robot and when they asked me a question I was lost and confused and just froze but now I just kinda know what I'm doing and just pitch it to them like I knew what I'm doing yes I do have a lot to learn but my advice is just to do it, just go for it
Cold call script video is next on the agenda! :) haha, everyone's first 10 sales calls will always be their worst, like you said it's all about learning from experience. For anyone else reading this comment now and is a beginner to cold calling, just make your first call. After your first call, even if it goes terribly wrong, your fear barrier of picking up the phone and dialling cold prospects will drop drastically.
The information is great and just what I was looking for. My surprise is your vid is the first one I watched, usually I have to go through a half dozen or so before I find what I'm looking for. (although there all on the same subject some can teach some can't) But you were interested in my takeaway, really I think what I got and what will help more than anything else is your energy when your talking about the subject. Which I imagine is probably normal for you. Thank you now lets see what this search engine shows me when I enter your name.
Hey Jordan! What about if they ask you about pricing even before agreeing to a meeting just to make sure they can afford your services? Also do you have any advice for Virtual assistants doing calls on behalf of businesses? Thanks in advance.
I might say something like this, especially if you're female and you're talking to a male. "Whoa, slow down Sir, asking me that question now is like proposing marriage before we've even had a first date!" Be sure to chuckle and smile after you say it, then continue after he reacts. "I can't predict what the pricing will be for you, and in fact, I don't even know if we can help you. That's the purpose of our call on Monday. We call it a 'Discovery call,' and it will be all about you, your company, your challenges, because I need to fully understand that first, before I can recommend a solution for you." Regarding having VA's do calls for you, if you mean sales calls, I have not had any success with that. I have a method of hiring VA's in the Philippines for $5/hour, which is a fair wage in their country. I've trained over 20 people who wanted to work with me who all said they were great at sales and would bring a lot of business in, and not a single one even made one sale.
Impressive, Jordan! Just a reminder to all businesses out there, make sure that the person you're trying to call for promotions is not under DNC list, or else you're putting your business at risk. They may sue you for that. There are ways to find out if they signed up to be part of DNC. Keep your business safe from possible legal cases always!
Thank you! Great knowledge. I need to improve a lot. First I would change tomorrow is perception to positive. I want to start to have fun when I am calling.
I am living in a small country, with about 4 million inhabitants. The market is small so everybody knows everyone. I try to provide free value to create a spark. " A good voice is heard far away ".

I used to be so scared of cold calling!
The keywords here are 'used to be scared' 😉What changed?
How long did it take to no longer be scared?
@@plplpop1 I don't remember tbh. Once you make 100 calls you should be good (maybe a lot less)
Best tip smile when cold calling Thanks Jordan
:D had like 10 calls today, 3 of them had actual conversation and 2 got their mail sent to them.
What do u sell
Biggest tip: Be genuinely prepared. Both for the meeting itself and knowledge-wise to provide the specific business with actual results.
Great video Jordan & finally an ex-sales professional, successful in SMM, is doing a series on cold calling. Yes please.
Thank you so much for your content. This was sooo helpful!
I am excited to implement your advice. Tomorrow I'll be cold calling with a mindset shift - make it fun! Objections are a request for more information!
Wow Jordan! This was so valuable and straight to the point!! Thank you for sharing this!! Can't wait to watch your other videos
You're welcome!
I own a media agency, and i have only recently started cold calling. Around 3 days now. I never found it nerve wrecking at all. I actually enjoy the challenge. If someone one does not want my services i just move on. I just think of it as a game. Already booked my first meeting.
Nice!! Congrats keep that momentum going ⚡️
These videos are so valuable and helpful. I haven’t started cold calling yet, but boy is he boosting my confidence to start!!
Any results?
@@el1zar497 Haha naw I gave up on this after a week or two. I think cold calling works well for some people, but not for me. I hated it. But I definitely found my own path with something else. I'm doing well!
@@kaysee482 Thank you for info. What do you know, close with sales?
I've listened to a couple of videos where people teach you how to cold call and I really like your method the best I think I'm going to use it for letting these managers know what type of business I'm in and what I have to offer thank you for the video
Go get em!!
please dig really into the cold calling process 😀❤️ love your content , your the biggest inspiration, why i started my own agency now!
Noted! That's amazing to hear Cedric, thank you for following my journey and enjoying my content
Subscribed! May the force always be with you
1% better everyday thanks to your videos. I'm feeling motivated for sure.
Love to hear it!
Biggest tip: To understand your personal and your business' why. Frederick Nietzsche put it simply "He who has a why to live can bear almost any how" Simon Sinek goes into more detail in his speech, start with why in which he repeats the phrase "people don't buy what you do, they buy why you do it"
Jordans a real one for all these videos. gonna watch them all and then sign up for affluent
1. Always try think positive.
2. Put effort into the prospecting.
Make them feel like you have made effort and call them.
3. Have a sales script
4. Be an actor. Change as per people.
Voice matters. Go with your tone.
❤
I am an introvert and I have been in sales position for years. So I enjoy this video very much :) I have implemented these strategies as well. And my mentor has also advised the same thing when I was a newbie: adopt a fuckit strategy and stop stressing before you talk to someone
Thanks for sharing!
Bro it feels like u talking to me face to face. I opened AI agency and yesterday when I was making call, my heart was pounding man. I couldn't continue so had to stop and haven't made anymore phone calls. Thanks for your information man.
Keep going! Don't give up💪
Un vídeo estupendo para los que inician este tipo de trabajo.
I would love to get some more videos, all centered around cold calling. Thanks Jordan.
This is actually the best video I've ever watched on cold calling.tons of value.thank you

Hi Jordan, this is the first time I watched your video. I got a motivation by the way you explained and made me feel like I could do it. I recently joined a company that does deal with customs clearance, Transportation and warehouse services. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with the cold call script for selling this service.
yesssssss I owe you a rolex for the time you put in for people like me.
I'll hold you to that! ;) haha, thanks Dibo!
After your first call, even if it goes terribly wrong, your fear barrier of picking up the phone and dialling cold prospects will drop drastically.
this is a great advise to help in sales and customer relationships
This one is a literal LIFE SAVER!!!! Thanks Jordan, this will help me so much.
Great video! This is very reassuring to someone who is just starting in the sales industry. Thank you
Thank you really, im so pressured right now and this made me at ease a bit
The information is great and just what I was looking for. My surprise is your vid is the first one I watched, usually I have to go through a half dozen or so before I find what I'm looking for. (although there all on the same subject some can teach some can't) But you were interested in my takeaway, really I think what I got and what will help more than anything else is your energy when your talking about the subject. Which I imagine is probably normal for you. Thank you now lets see what this search engine shows me when I enter your name.
One of the best and genuine guys on yt! :))
Thank you!
Thankyou for this. A must have etiquette.
We call it a 'Discovery call,' and it will be all about you, your company, your challenges, because I need to fully understand that first, before I can recommend a solution for you."
Regarding having VA's do calls for you, if you mean sales calls, I have not had any success with that. I have a method of hiring VA's in the Philippines for $5/hour, which is a fair wage in their country. I've trained over 20 people who wanted to work with me who all said they were great at sales and would bring a lot of business in, and not a single one even made one sale.
Please make a sales script video! This video is amazing Jordan, great job.

Yes please sales script sample and strategies. How to get the attention and make them stay on the phone 😊 Bunch of thanks!
Where exactly would I get this information?
Thank you! Great knowledge. I need to improve a lot. First I would change tomorrow is perception to positive. I want to start to have fun when I am calling.
Great video!! I find it very educative!
Awesome, thanks!
