Really sad what it became.
I don't even know what to say about the last 15 or so years of boring repetitive trap beats. It jumped the shark big time. Black music will never ever touch the greatness of funk and soul again.
Adolfo Quinones and Michael Chambers were my first influences in dancing as a child. I learned to lock from Adolfo and popping from Michael. You are a part of me for the rest of my life Mr. Quinones. I can't describe how deeply his passing has touched me. Thank you sir. 🙏🏽
Happy birthday Shabba Doo today Rest In Eternal Power
I am so sad to hear Shabba doo has passed. I hung out with him back in the 80's in L.A. I remember he was working on a Madonna video, and she didn't want his female assistant there with him, he was so cool because he told Madonna, if she's not allowed in, then I am walking away to.
Loyalty is a great quality that he had. 💗
His movie was part my childhood 80s rip with the god’s blessings nyc solute uuuuu bkkk

In other word shabba doo was dancing for his ancestors ... that's the only people we can truly live for ... that part of your speak is so beautiful and Powerful... love conquers all ...love you brother rest in peace
I was a “break dancer” in Los Angeles during the time Breaking movie came out the movie is what Los Angeles really needed at the time to show its street talent thank you Shabba Doo for your amazing talent may you Rest In Peace you were a true person that did not hold back your feelings and that made you unique
growing up I thought you were my dad when he was young because you looked just like him crazy that you're gone I hug my dad so hard😘 I learned to Pop & Lock because of you
He looks like my olderbrother
HE Looks like my Cousin Thad
I am utterly impressed with his command of the English language. This brother was brilliant and gifted. He will most certainly be missed...
Rest In Peace Shabba-Doo He Will Be Missed 🙏🙏
Shabadoo is going to be missed in the dancing community 😢. It sucks he died so young. I guess God said time to come home though.
What the fudge! He died???? When??? Starting internet search.
Wow. Just wow. I had such a crush on him back in the day. R.I.P Adolfo.😢

Thank you Shabba Doo. You will be missed. Breakin was my favorite childhood movie. People forget Breakin movie also introduced the world to a young Ice T.
Shabba Doo is truly an amazing person and his quote "you may be able to do all those things better than me but I FEEL more than you" is relevant then as well as it is now. I watched Breakin' The Movie in 1984 more than a dozen times in the theater as i felt, it had a meaningful message and the best lockin' and poppin' movie and still is, that would become a classic one day.
Shabba Doo always appeared eternally youthful to me. Very sorry to learn of his passing. May his soul rest in peace 🙏
The older he got the more handsome he became. RIP
RIP Ozone!!
You were my 80’s hero!
Thank you for my childhood memories
Earliest memories I can remember involved me watching this dude.
Inspired my beginnings....
There's no stopping us...
Rip
No one does it better! RIP
Ozone! 🙏🏾❤️
WOW🥺
I was 10 when breakin came out! Thank you 🙏 for helping to change the direction my life went in!!! The 80's WERE the best of times!!!
This was an exceptional interview..
Damn he could’ve been a judge for the Olympics on breakdancing!
Gtfo 2020 everyone is so tired of saying RIP
but this one right here takes the cake
Shabba Doo you will be forever breakdancin in Heaven
Me myself I stop sayings that (so played from that 90s crap I was sick of it) and just focus on the birthdate.😁🙂
I feel you.
Agreed 👍 Best comment ever 👍 👏
I had such a kid-crush on him back in the 80’s. So sad to hear he passed away.
Rest well sir ... I loved me some Ozone I just watched What’s Happening with him dancing with ReRun
“There’s no stopping us”....what a great track....for some reason it always gets me emotional RIP 😥
I too 😪
Absolutely!! It's just a great song. PERIOD.
I so wish I could have met him before he passed ...Listen to his words .. so deep and with passion. So many layers to what he is saying. Would have been a great guy to chat with and listen to. RIP 🙌
I'm so glad you captured this testament to his life and legacy. R.I.P.
This is always hard for me to wrap my mind around him dying 10 days after this interview.🥺 R.I.P Aldolfo Shabba Doo Quinones.❤️
His words and passion for dance rocked my very core! His intensity resonates and courses through real steppers’ veins..Respect given, god..❤️👑
What a beautiful man--inside and out. We've lost a genius. RIP Brother.
He abused one of his wives.
RIP, such a gent and a legend, he deserved much more recognition than he got for introducing street dance to mainstream.
WOW! Fred Astaire, Sammy Davis Jr, Michael Jackson and now Shabba doo. The dance world is losing them all. Very sad. May he rest in peace and God give his family and friends calmness and love.
Agreed!!! Shabba Doo have a great dance gift. Much love to the brother. We miss you Adolfo Quinones. Rest In Power.👼🙏🏾
Shabba Doo was a big inspiration for me when I started break dancing. RIP Shabba
B-Boys will always be boys!
2020 can't get out of here fast enough. Adolfo "Shabba Doo" Quinones has
left us after an illness. A Hip-Hop dancer, movie star and
choreographer, Adolfo "Shabba Doo" Quinones brought into the mainstream
with "coolness and class" a dance that still is said today, the change
in culture. May you rest in peace and loved always!
YOU SAID IT ALL!!
I'm so glad I was able to show my daughter the breakin films and what's happenin' prior to his death. We privately gave the brother his flowers while he was here. RIP
I was 10 when this film came out in Australia.
RIP Shabba Doo.
Just saw this post and saddened me to find out that a great dancer like him passed away. RIP SHABBA DOO PRAYERS.

Watching this video I cannot believe he was so close to death. He loooks amazing to be 65 yrs old...OMG he aged sooo well .He is a legend and will be greatly missed....
Wow! What a wonderful, heartfelt, taking me back in the day interview! As a kid I watched “Breakin” dozens and dozens of times because of this man’s gorgeous face, swag, charisma and phenomenal dance moves. He was definitely made for that movie or vice versa. This interview was so inspiring and touching, and took my mind back on memory lane that I’m gonna watch the movie today on Thanksgiving! I haven’t seen it in at least 30 years so I can’t wait to see it and reminisce on such a wonderful time of the 80’s
Shabba Doo passed away too soon. Heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
Dang ! RIP bruh ! Grew up in the 80's watching Breakin and the break dance movie franchise. Thank you for the memories. 🙏🙏🙏
