    I have seen some beautiful quilted fabric, but did not have that money, so watched some RUclips videos on how to make quilted fabric and used some of my own fabrics... and now that I've watched your video, I can jump right in and make a serger cover... THANK YOU for taking the time to make the video, I thought it was excellent. By the way, I really love how your sewing machine has SO much room along the inside (from the needle to the right side), bet that sure is helpful having more room in there. Take care and thanks again!

    You just gave me the brilliant idea of laminating the settings page from my manual to keep with the machine, thanks so much!

      Making covers for my machines alone is long overdue. Plus I need to make them for any and all appliances that I'd want to take in the RV we just purchased. Your ideas and fabrics are perfect for this and will prevent appliances from scratching if they get jostled while we're driving. I went with a beige color and will add color from the embroideries. I may do some piping too. This video is just what I needed!!! Can't thank you enough for the direction and inspiration you always provide!!!!!

      If you have software it is very easy to make. You do a oval and find a font you like.

    May I ask what kind of table are either of your embroidery machines on? Where did u get them? Thanks I’m about to redo studio. Love your videos!

      I bought the tables my sergers and Destiny sit on at Office Depot in 2002. The Luminaire is on a secretary desk I bought at Sams $199 and the table the Solaris is on came from Ikea. I bought the Ikea table used for $100. I looked it up when I bought it and the price new $500 at that time.

    I have evolution but it ha metal guide on top which makes using a cover difficult to use.
    your machine looks like you have something different for thread... what is that please?

    • @Cindicrafter
      @Cindicrafter  2 года назад

      It’s the same as yours. The metal guide collapses. I just put it down.

    Do you have any directions for a couer for the luminaire/ Solaris or 6200

    • @Cindicrafter
      @Cindicrafter  5 лет назад

      Sorry I do not. If I make one for my Luminaire, Solaris or Destiny I would want them to cover the machine and embroidery arm. I do have a cover that came with my Luminaire. If you have the bags the cover is in the bags. Just Sew Patterns on Etsy is the seller I mentioned in the video. She has patterns for the Solaris, Luminaire, Destiny and Dream.

      You could also try the way I show here. I think it would be so easy if someone cannot get a pattern.
