Best of luck for your career. Its good to see Indian girls working on ships. Our society is now more acceptable towards girls working outside their home. I work on DP ships and we had one CO and one 2O lady officers on my last ship. They were Britishers though.

This is misleading to new comers who planning to enter into shipping, But in real world especially in Tankers it's quiet different story any kinda electrical, Electronics, automation related problem including bridge machineries including hydraulics ETO have to deal it. It's tough job not easy at all. Hopefully anyone wanna join be prepared and have a safe sailing.
Karanvir, great episode. It is so nice to see women onboard especially in specialized areas. Please remember she is a crew member and is expected to do her full duties just like anyone else. As you come in contact with more female crew members you will get to the point where you don't even realize they are women. Just like you don't see the different ethnicities in your crew. Although Maersk is one of the best company, but for ETO it is not that good due to high no.s reefer of plugging and unplugging. Oil tanker and cruise are best for ETO's.

Life of an Electrical officer onboard a container ship is really hard. I've been experiencing and it can't express in a single video.
can one survive there if he is not comfortable with wires and how much proficiency with wires is needed.
I left containers due to reefers only, but I'm glad to see her optimism. All the best.
