I have this terrain and love it. I can set up and break it down. I broke the chair on my first try. The parts other then the chair are strong.

I like how it can be an urban setting, a space station or even a lost spaceship depending on the scenarios. Great potential.

Nice one Trevor. I`ve used Battle Systems terrain for years now (I own far too much of the stuff haha), and used to take it all apart between games and then create the most elaborate and complex layouts for each session.... but it takes FOR EVER.. In the end I just worked out which pieces I like and use most, then glued them (like scatter terrain). Gave up the elaborate layouts, and now have a ton of useful premade pieces instead. works a treat for me.

Nice to see a video that's a bit more "raw", it's fun to see you messing around and working it out! As for the bed, I guess they're saying it's a bunk-style bed and not a bunk bed, if that makes sense? Ps feel your pain with this stuff, I got a spaceshuttle in this style as a gift once...it was a nightmare. Makes a lot more sense as a simple terrain system!

Oh, I felt guilty hate painting minis (that's why I use paper minis). I'm glad that I'm not the only one! Keep up the good work, Trevor!

I own a lot of Battle Systems fantasy stuff (no sci-fi yet) and it's simply awesome! Great video Trevor!

This new series along with Sage's Library REALLY flesh out the channel and makes me even more excited to see new stuff from your channel, dude. Your use of minis really helps bring the main show together so this is awesome. (I'm not a painter either so I completely feel you LOL I love paper minis)

This is absolutely perfect timing. I was looking into 5 Parsecs from Home just a week ago, but it sounds as if the campaign is open ended (no build up to a finale confrontation). Very interested to see how you spin up a campaign \ story.

I went all in on Battle System's medieval terrain KS a few years back, love their stuff. Goes together nice, stores easily, very modular. Great for Mordheim tables.

Funny that you bought this set for Five Parsecs as I did a similar thing for Five Leagues a while back and bought the Village Ruins set. Battle Systems terrain is great and very affordable too.

Very cool! I hate painting also. Very excited for 5 parsecs from home. Already purchased the book. 😊

Battlesystems had a booth at Essen Spiel last week. I was going to pick up the Fantasy Village set for my Five Leagues From The Borderlands campaign, but it had sold out. 😢 They do look great though, especially with a little organic dressing.

Oh man, I didn't expect sci-fi stuff! Are our hapless heroes about to take a leap into space, or is this something in a different continuity to tide us over? Either way, can't wait! Also, great to see the Ironsworn set again. :)

And now I can see a small volunteer squad of Trevor's patreons sending him 3d printed (and painted) set pieces for the upcoming 5 Parsecs From Home game.

I've been hoping you'd do some sci-fi for a while now, so looking forward to 5PFH! I just bought it myself so really interested to see how you play it.

Also good grief, Trevor, your display of accents and voices in this episode is unparalleled. It's like you're a professional voice actor or something

This is cool, but they need to provide baggies for the pieces that go together for storage.

Easy terrain like this is always good. I sometimes enjoy painting character, aircraft, and vehicle minis, but it takes up more time than I'd like. Plus prep and clean-up time spent is annoying and interrupts the fun mood in between. Yet when it comes to creating terrain and painting it, I'd rather take a nap as it's the same end result. Zzzz. This kind of terrain is quicker and more palatable.
I suppose that's why the only miniatures games I have which aren't board games consist of warships and aircraft - no, or very little, terrain to bother with.

I love painting, but painting on a time limit can really suck. I find it much more enjoyable to take my time and do a good job while learning new painting skills. Painting just to get it on the table can be pretty dull.
