I just picked one of these up from Lowe’s. I haven’t gotten to use it too much, but your video was helpful in my decision making process. With any luck, it will last a few years.
@@docrofo2573 Let’s hope
I’m looking at this unit as my 2400sqft home sits at around 60-65% in the summer, this might sound silly, I’m on a split 3 level home and if I were to run it in the basement where I have a drain would it be able to dehumidify the home? My son lives down in the basement and has that door closed most the time. Other option would be in the kitchen living room area but no drain.
I'm looking at the same unit now. I sitting at around 65% humidity inside right now and I have too many guitars to keep that high. Would this work inside my home to lower the humidity? I do have two floors around 2600 sqft.
@@bigbassjonz yes it would work. Do you have a place or sump to run the drain line? If not, expect to empty the bucket once a day.
@@OldSoulMillennialAppreciate the feedback. My next question was going to be about placement. I thought about putting in the laundry room and piping it out the washer drain.
I just buy one of these, but the water is no faling in the water buker.
What about instead of a garden hose using the drain hose that comes with the unit. It's obviously much thinner than the garden hose but if you could comment on this that would be great!
Thanks in advance.
@@kliff8586 To my recollection, this unit did not come with a drain hose. You must supply your own.
Too much coffee. Slow down dude.
