After last week's Acolyte episode, I FINALLY canceled my subscription to Disney Plus. I was so patient with all the awful things they were doing to both Marvel and Star Wars, always hoping naively that just maybe things would eventually hit a wall and common sense would return. Nope. They are determined to bankrupt themselves and destroy TWO franchises in the process. I'll have my memories of growing up with comic books and the original 3 Star Wars movies (and I'll throw the 3 prequels in there also). Kathleen Kennedy and all these woke ID10T card holders are so desperately focused on destroying the few things remaining that normal people enjoy. Sigh.
I'm not surprised by the Acolytes inconsistencies and terrible depiction of the Jedi. Leslye Headland and her disrespect towards George early on was an indicator. To her, this slop is what the Jedi, the force, good vs evil, Star Wars in general is all about. However, the one person who should get fired immediately is Kathleen Kennedy for letting this happen. It's a miracle she let Tony Gilroy tell a great story without her ruining it. Her agenda and passion for bad storytelling are what has Star Wars in the gutter.

I use Disney Plus but with a VPN set to UK. The shows they have are wayyy better. I would go as far as to say it's better than US Netflix.
