@@MichaelPK03 obviously you don't have any idea on how this works. A trailer is publicity. It needs to be fast, resumed, not to reveal much about the movie and NEVER TO EXPOSE THE ORIGINAL SOUNTRACK TOO EARLY.

The fact that final fantasy music was in it showed some Gen Z kids with no sense of reality put it together and now is trying hard to justify why they did this. Sorry it’s not good

Rap music on a movie where the setting is in the late 2nd century a.d and it's the Roman empire? No, bro, the original soundtrack fits better, and any fan of the original movie would agree.

Has pop music, heavy metal, and rap music in it Baz Lurmans *Romeo and Juliet* : Set in 14th century has pop, rap, garage, and indie music in it *Molin Rouge* set in some by gone era. Has pop and hip hop in it *Django Unchained* has rap and country music in it *Inglorious Basterds* ....rap, pop, soul, country, and every other contemporary music in it *A knights tale* *Bridgerton* Trust me man.....modern music in period piece movies is not new. And the funny thing is that, this music in Gladiator is only in the trailer.....while those movies I mentioned actually have *hip hop and heavy metal during the actual film*

@stactionsmedia3318 I'm not saying it's bad, like when they used it in the trailer i didnt mind it. But when you're trying to make the audience feel like they're in a certain time period, then you should choose a soundtrack that fits the era. So I wouldn't put an actual rap song in the actual movie of Gladiator 2. It would be a misplaced soundtrack. Plus, I honestly can't remember all the tunes in the movies you mentioned, but the most you did aren't the most historically accurate.

Now the trailer of Gladiator 2 plays a rap song by Kanye West called *_Church of the Wild_* .........guess what music is played in the renown Great Gatsby Academy award winning movie? ....... a rap song by Kanye West called *Church of the Wild*
