This is the most accurate pistol I have shot. I was putting holes in holes at 20 to 30 yards. The only drawback of it is like you mentioned, it is very snappy and if you shoot enough, you will feel it in your wrist...
Shot mine today and I'm cleaning it while I watch this. I'm so happy that this pistol is reliable, the extractor is impressively made and is similar to the Walther version which does a great job at tough cases. The workmanship is also super nice, I like the touches of the vertical stripes along the trigger front and the checkering between the sights too!
I had a couple of jams with hollow points on mine, but it turned out to be the magazine. They redesigned feed lips in 1972, and if you have an earlier gun with a later magazine sometimes it doesn’t like hollow points.
Order a rubberized slip on grip. I recommend Limbsaver. It helps cushion the recoil of my .40 Glock. I no longer hurt the web of skin between my thumb and index finger when I shoot a 50 round box of .40
@d.b.1176 Trust me...the Limbsaver is brilliantly designed. It lowers felt recoil by spreading out the kinetic energy over a wider area. And they aren't expensive. All my semi-autos have one. Regardless of caliber. Just checked their website. $11.99, with models to fit full size, compact and subcompact pistols and AR15 rifles.

What are these bullets called I'm looking online and nothing?
The only time my P64 has malfunctioned was with hollow points. I no longer use hollow points.
As a military pistol is designed to shoot FMJ.

The propensity for the safety on this gun to break (and the impossibility of replacing it) make it unsuitable for SHTF situations.
can i order this item
Very reliable and accurate pistol. Unfortunately it’s snappy and unpleasant to shoot.
@@offgridsimplicity I love mine, never had a jam and it's a compact little pistol. I have the same hollow points just in case.

The Limbsaver smallest size grip sleeve fits my P64 like a glove and really helps with recoil.
@@Callmeogmios I’ve got a Glock 27 and I’ve never thought of it as snappy like the P64
