The storytelling in this video is top notch. The juxtaposition of the two main characters and their contrasting yet parallel motivations really keep you on your toes. On the one hand, you have a novice kisser who just wants to face his fears and find true love in the process. On the other hand, you have a demonic harpy that is pickier than a boy forced to eat his vegetables. In the end, our hero’s pure and innocent spirit prevailed, whereas our antagonist is left without any meaningful connection or hope for the future, all because of her own doing. Bravo 👏

I felt really bad for the second girl (the brunette). She seemed like a genuine, sweet, fun person. Not to mention she had beautiful eyes. I think she would have been willing to give him that passion if he were patient. Meeting a new person is stressful when you have romantic intentions. @@grey_f98 This is a great point. You’re correct, seeing her heartbroken does make one feel protective over her because she seems like such a good person. It’s easy to just call him a bland loser and let the fire of emotion justify that opinion.
However, having been used before by a man who dangled the proverbial carrot in my face, it could be much worse if he knowingly gave her the hope of a relationship he has no interest in. He is saving themselves a lot of heartbreak by dipping out immediately. It sucks to be both heartbreaker and heartbrakee.
