Incorrect, the "i" series batteries can be used in any other Nitecore flashlight that accepts a 21700 battery. Btw love my SRT7I, probs the most versatile beam pattern of all time 😁🔦

The SRT7i is the reason why I got into Nitecore. Despite the size, I've been using it as my EDC ever since. Simply awesome.

i was pocket carrying my p23i for the last year and now edc35. the extra .25 inch diameter isnt a problem to me. rather have the larger 21700 over the smaller 18650.

The charging port cover isn’t rubber it’s silicone which can resist high and low temperatures and still be flexible/functional. I prefer the silicone over bending or breaking off the metal clip could have and the silicone is more water/lint/dirt tight. I know Nitecore makes the NBM41 that holds 4 batteries but one that would hold a single would be nice. Haven’t seen anyone selling a holder for a single 21700 battery made like the NBM41 or in a hard plastic holster to keep the battery ends protected from a drop and contact. Would be a nice future products. Thanks

It really comes down to the UI. Do you need one handed operation, with quiet button clicks and silent signaling capabilities? Srt7i is geared towards people with those needs. Mh25pro has similar specs as far as lumens and throw without all the bells and whistles.

I've had the SRT7I for four weeks now and have finally found my EDC. The special battery doesn't bother me and I bought two 5300s to go with it. I don't give up on a good lamp just because the special battery bothers me.
