I picked up a carpet tile for £1 about 5 years ago to use as a card mat. It's still nice and soft to this day, use it all the time.
They look really nice. This reminds me the pads people get to play trading card games like Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic the Gathering, Pokémon and others.

I always thought the best test of a close-up mat was coin work, does the mat have enough give to clip a coin (secretly of course), is the surface smooth enough to slide a coin, etc etc ...

52Kards nice video. I found this review while shopping for a close up pad. Every pad I have found was one of these roll-up kind. I am really HUNTING for a close up that has a hard backing. Are there any Hard backed close up pads that are affordable? I’m thinking something with a plastic backing, just to cut down on production costs.

These are mousepads
On your site someone left a review for the 3-way mirror pad saying it came with a tear in the fabric and you refused to send him a replacement on the grounds of the tear was "only" in the fabric and not the mirror and that the pad was to be used mainly for practice and not performance. Are you for real ?? What makes you think 1) you're getting to decide what your customer's main use will be for the product and 2) a tear in the fabric is not enough grounds for replacement in itself already ? If what that customer wrote is accurate and that really is your way of doing business i'm happy i read that because i would never want to do business with you. Please clarify.
When we receive a report of a damaged defective product, our process is to forward the message to our vendor (we don't produce this product) and seek a replacement to be sent. We didn't except any problems with our vendor as they are normally really good about sorting out these issues, but in this case they told us that since it's just a tear in the fabric it doesn't justify a replacement. The issue was eventually sorted out as we decided to send out a replacement from our own inventory.

What the fuck! Why did they stop making Magic Surface? You cant even GET them anymore! Can you please reply and let me know what the current day equivalent to their Magic Surface is? You always get what you pay for so unless I'm planning on abusing something, I tend to usually try and get the best I can afford. EDIT: Also, the Rogue's Arena pad by Brushwood at Scam School: also no longer being made! You need to made an entirely new video it seems. Can you PLEASE give me currently available option for a large, premium pad?

Jared Rose I can tell you right now that it's not the same. I bought a regular game pad, which really is an enlarged mouse pad, after throwing away my dirty card mat, but without the soft padding it's really hard to pick up the cards
