It sounds better the way it is. Billie’s voice has become more nasally and he uses falsetto a lot more these days. This just sounds so powerful.

You can actually hear the difference between the original and this in terms of Billie's pronunciation of words , especially at the /t/k/p/ ending sounds, I think you nailed them perfectly! Also, leaving some breathing sounds and gasps are really American Idiot Era!

This definitely feels more American Idiot-ish! What changes have made it this way? I can't put my finger on what exactly is different.
I trinken the guitars have a heavier tone in this version that fit AI more for example. The guitars of the real version are more pop I think.

@@stefankorner9007 its also ever so slightly slower i think and they did some mixing or used ai of American Idiot Billie specifically to sound more like it'd fit on that album.

Dude idk how you do this or how I'm just finding it, but I hope to god you blow up so you keep doing this. I can't stop listening. GD is the reason I picked up and learned a guitar in 1997, and I've always kinda jammed some other versions, but to hear all this is incredible.
Also, the first time I heard this, I was thinking that the bridge would've been so much better on 21st Century Breakdown. Cuz I thought of the pretty much exact anthem-esque guitar riff. But this will do for now. So awesome

Actually neither are wrong, this says original pitch (which is Eb) because there's a E Tuning version of this mix in the description because all of the songs in American Idiot are in E.
