Thank you so much for coming to the center and doing another fantastic video of our Furniture Show. You did an amazing job, considering how crazy it was in here during your visit. Come back any time!
Our entries are actually up from the last two years - Covid dealt us a blow like it did most everyone else - but the pieces are smaller, which makes it seem like our entries are down. Every piece in this year's show is a gem, though.
Thank you, again. Your videos are awesome.

Thanks for the nice review of this year's show. I entered a piece in this years show and from my point of view it feels like putting your self worth out there for review and criticism. Your reviews are honest and kind. The makers of the pieces you reviewed no doubt appreciate your words. I agree with what you said about the items you reviewed, I regret there isn't enough time to show the full depth of detail on them. Also, your motto, "worth the effort" is what furniture making at this level is all about. Cheers.

Thanks for the video, Shawn. I appreciate the time and effort it took to travel to Kerrville and look at these pieces. Furniture making is a difficult and time consuming process that folks often aren’t able to view as a works of art instead of just functional objects. I get the utilitarian viewpoint and the economic pressure to race to the cheapest price point. Reality being that most store-bought furniture ends up in a landfill. Most of the makers in this show build for generational use, and pointing out the details they include is a service to the community. Thanks again!

I have been watching your videos about this exhibition every year and I'm patiently waiting for the next one to come. I wish I was closer to this to see it in person, but your videos are so well done it feels like I'm there examinating the piece myself. Thank you and greetings from Croatia 😊

Thank you for taking us round the show. It's great to see so much really great furniture and skills on show and to have that shared around the world is a real service to them. I like the format of just picking a few and diving into the details. I could have spent hours looking round that lot.

Great tour and info. Anyone can appreciate those pieces as they are. But deeper and with greater complexity with your commentary and explanations to help us understand the elements and planning necessary to make something this masterful. There was a lot of great chatoyancy and design in that tour.

its hard putting forth a week + of effort knowing the return after a year might be $80. the longer series go, the fewer watch. People/advertisers don't respond to textbooks. they want adventure stories.

Shawn, I would like to see the commentary on the other pieces in the show. I had two pieces that were in this year’s show, as I have been inspired by your past videos about the Texas furniture maker show. I’m always looking to improving would appreciate another artist does critique. My two pieces were the Fibonacci table and the altar table with inlaid banding.

Thanks for the video. I gotta say that I think the cool (blue) LED lighting in the one piece is exactly what you want for that design. I think the designer got it right. Now if it was lions on the Serengeti, then yeah something warmer.

Bro your" criticism " is not apreciated.you must not understand how art works.the piece with the bears and the blue l.e.d.inside is amazing.but you thought it should be yellow... I guarantee it looks exactly how the artist intended it to look so who are you to say it should look any different are critics are not appreciated not needed either why don't you go ahead and copy his art. 😂 and put a yellow LED and if that's what you like.
