Thank you for the masterclass in appreciation! When I was a young musician, some of the best lessons came from listening to records with the more experienced players.
Shawn-I want to thank you for putting these videos together over the past few years. Hopefully your efforts will inspire more Texas woodworkers to enter their creations, and motivate more visitors to come and enjoy the show.
Shawn, I’ve been learning so much watching your channel. Thanks so much for taking us on this tour. I’m convinced exquisite woodworking like this is indeed a fine art.
That’s why I keep following you. For the education, ideas, and brainstorming. That bench was delightful and I will certainly try to make something like that on my own. It would be a great series for the channel so we could all follow, do it along with you, and maybe have some live shows where we communicate design ideas, add suggestions, troubleshoot, discuss tool alternatives and limitations, and maybe share our final results across the community and with you!
Thank you. You are absolutely correct to look at other peoples work for inspiration and to make it your own. Isn’t that the way we all started by seeing something we liked and said “I want to make stuff like that”
I love this video! Those are such beautiful pieces, and your commentary really adds to my enjoyment. What a lovely, calm way to spend a Saturday evening!
Thanks for the video. I was supposed to go to the show 2 weeks ago with a friend that lives in San Antonio but it did not work out. I live in East Texas and it is a 6-7 hour drive to see the show. Lots of cool stuff.
Great job! Thanks for pointing out some of the unique bits of the work people did. My favorite was the Blanket chest. I really liked the non-standard face and curved nature of the front. Very cool!
Everytime you touched one of the displays I wanted to slap you hand and yell " Don't Touch !! " LOL Tthanks for the video showing us the show , greatly appreciated .
Just beautiful. There are very few original ideas in the history of man. Its those that take those ideas and adapt them in ways unthought of that are the real innovators and artists. I still remember the test to enter an art course that required you to take an everyday item such as a dinner plate and come out with a dozen different ideas to use it which has nothing to do with food.
I really love the passion, description and your expertise as you talk about creations from other creators. You have me wanting to build something #awesome and purchase what I saw. I will rewatch this #episode so I can follow those you've mentioned. #Thank you #for #TheInspiration #I'm staying tuned as I'm living #offgrid enjoying your channel. #Keepupthegreatwork
Thanks Shawn, both for showing this work and highlighting touches to inspire us to grow. Looking forward to seeing your arched desk build, assuming you make that public. Don't think you've taught bent laminating to your class yet.
Without patrons to fund a spec build its hard for pro's to do. When people start putting in orders again I'm sure more will pop up. It's an economy thang.
Thanks for that excellent tour and of the detailed explanation. I was able to see a few prices you record but wondering about those other pieces. Keep up the good work.
Hey Shawn loved the video and the new kind of content. Also Christmas is coming up and I’ve been turning for the past two years and only have a old stone wheel that I don’t know the grit and a high speed grinder, so is there a specific grinder that you would suggest. I also am looking at cbn wheels and idk which one to get from woodturners wonders. If you or someone else could help me out that would be great. My budget for the grinder is from like 100 to 200 bucks and the wheel is 50 to125 thanks.
Hey this is Peter .I have learned a lot from Your videos and bought a set of braces from Your site not knowing that is an inferior product and is only good for flimsy 4 feet bench with weak legs.AMAZON FRAUDULENTLY PUT DIFFERENT SET OF WEAK BRACES IN YOUR SITE INSIDE THE BOX SCREWS WERE SPILLED OUT OF THEIR CONTAINER.I Unfortunately I destroyed the USPS box not knowing that an inferior was sent to me .I am very disappointed.
Peter, I realize I come across as the most powerful man in the world but I have no control over Amazon. I do know they take everything back so why are you complaining to me on multiple videos that you did not return an item you were dissatisfied with. I suggest you take a little initiative and box it up and mail it back for a refund.
@@wortheffort I wanted You to realize that Amazon substituted the right product for a worse version I had time allowed for the built and I wasted it ,once again thank You for tremendous effort in making Your awesome videos. I will always keep watching.
Thank you, so much for coming to the show again this year!

I don't know if it's just me but I get a real sense of calm and contentment watching your videos. Keep doing whatever you're doing, you're awesome 👌 👏

Best regards KCB (UK) 🇬🇧
Thanks for another cool thing to visit in Kerrville.
Very nice. Appreciate your taking the time to show this. It’s interesting to me to get to see all the various pieces and nuisances you point out.
Thank you. You are absolutely correct to look at other peoples work for inspiration and to make it your own. Isn’t that the way we all started by seeing something we liked and said “I want to make stuff like that”
wow what a great video I could look at the furniture all day WOW
Thank you for the virtual walk through. Go Texas!

Those were some cool pieces. Also enjoyed the sermon in the car.
Even though I can't attend this, I do appreciate your effort of making this video every year. This way I can enjoy and learn from Croatia 😊
Thank you!

I will with the teardrop build.
It was cool to see Danny Kamerath's furniture.
He's really the only guy I can compare my bowl carving to.
Thanks for the tour. First time in years we didn’t go because of the low number of entries, which was a bit disappointing.

Hope we see your work featured and awarded in this show in the future.
These people are league or two above me.
@@wortheffort Still, worth striving for. Perhaps even worth the effort!😵💫🤣
Thank you that was nice
When are you going to post the pen production video?
When oats done.
Super cool
Great video

120 grit if only getting one, any low speed grinder. They’re all pretty generic.
Thank you
