      Try and do as many practice problems as you can, I find it’s the best way to get a hang of balancing chemical equations.

    First time with chem, but it took a million tries and I finally get the whole chemical equation thing together.Thank you TheTutor_Geek you are the best teacher ever.

    Question : for the last example how is O changed to 8 if 3x6 is not 8?? Hopefully this makes sense . Just got confused on that one

      Hi, on the first compound ( P2O5) we get 5 total oxygen atoms here. then on the second compound (3H2O) we multiply 3 times 1 oxygen and get 3 total oxygen here. So if we add the 5 total from the first compound and the 3 total from the second compound, we get 8 Oxygen.
      hope this helped, please let me know if you need further explanation.

      just realized, maybe you meant the product side....

    • @thetutor_geek
      @thetutor_geek  2 года назад

      on the product side... we only multiple the coefficient (2) by the 4 oxygen to get 8.
      the 3 that is subscript next to hydrogen is only used for hydrogen.

    Which teas books are best for studying for the math, science, reading, and English portion of the teas text?

      I have yet to find 1 book that gives a good solid explanation of all subjects. I personally only use the ATI TEAS 7 STUDY MANUAL to find out exactly what will be on the exam, then I completely use other books as resources to study.
      Sorry, I wish I had a more direct answer for you.
      In case you are wondering, my go-to books are titled "THE COMPLETE HIGH SCHOOL STUDY GUIDE- EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO ACE..." I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE BOOKS, I RECOMMEND THEM ALL THE TIME TO STUDENTS I USE TO TUTOR IN COLLEGE AND HIGH SCHOOL.
      THE REASON I THINK THEY'RE GREAT FOR THE TEAS IS, THAT THEY ARE RELATIVELY CHEAP, AND THEY ONLY GO OVER HIGH SCHOOL MATERIAL (NOT COLLEGE. EVERYTHING IN THE TEAS EXAM IS ONLY UP TO HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL SO WITH THESE BOOKS, YOU KNOW YOU'RE NOT STUDYING ANYTHING YOU DON'T NEED), ALSO THEY ARE SOOOO SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND. LOVE THEM!!!!
      IF YOU WANT TO CHECK THEM OUT. YOU CAN GOOGLE THEM AND FIND ALL OF THEM ON AMAZON. ONE BOOK PER SUBJECT.

      Hi, I’ll be doing math but it won’t be until next year. These next few months I’m working on finishing chemistry and biology.
