What's scary is that this is closer to the actual test on Any of the online study puides, apps, or even the Elsevier Hesi A2 practice book. I was completely shocked when I took the test last week, because almost NOTHING I studied was helpful Hopefully this time I'll do better.
I only studied a lot when i went for the first time last year at but the second time was so easy, all thanks to my aunt who introduced me to Mr Marcus am really grateful
I took the TEAS yesterday and THE SCIENCE SECTION WAS HARD AS F**K !!!!!!! There’s hardly any anatomy, maybe a handful of questions. The rest is on absolutely nothing that I studied. Lots of chemistry related questions, so know your s**t when it comes to that and study your a$$ off. Thank god my reading/math saved me.
@@katsteel2004 Reading/Writing have always been my strengths, so I didn't find myself having any issue. Don't over think, they aren't trying to trick you, some of the answers are just THAT easy. This might be obvious to you, but it never crossed my mind. But If you're finding yourself stuck on a question, FLAG IT AND SKIP IT! I don't care if it's 3 questions in a row, keep scrolling till you find and answer all the easy ones they have to offer. THEN go back, and work through the ones you're stumped on. I almost ran out of time on math AND science because I sat stuck on a problem in the middle of the test when the last 10 problems were easy points. I guessed on half the science portion, idk what else to even say. Lots of periodic "proton neutron" trading, ionic bond vs polar bond, balancing equations, "what would the byproduct be of these two compounds" there's at least 1 heart anatomy question so know the flow of blood through the heart. Tendon vs. ligament. I studied Boyles and Charles, and Mendels laws, but the question about _____ 's law was on there, and I don't even remember the name bc I did not recognize it. I blacked it out bc the entire section had me traumatized that I was going to fail the test. This video came up after the fact so it was too late for me, but hopefully this helps save some of you. I will try and edit if I think of anything else specific. GOOD LUCK!! You're gonna do great! I failed the science portion and I still ended up with a 70% which is about the national average. But I only needed 60% for my program, so its a "pass" and that's all that matters!
@@thetutor_geek Absolutely! I hope some people can see this and direct their studies more to what you've put into your video! I wish I had seen it before, it came up after the fact :( but I still got the score I needed to enter my program this October! You're doing gods work making these videos! It is so much help studying for such a stressful exam!
@@torilyn432 congratulations! I know chemistry scares a lot of people. thank you for sharing some of the details on your exam, it helps knowing if I'm giving information in the right direction or not. best wishes on your program! 🤓
Just took my TEAS today w an 81.3 over all 🎉🎉🎉 thank you for your videos ❤ I just wanted to say I had a question about nitrogen and why it was very stable : triple covalent bond was the answer 😊
I truly appreciate you and I thank.... No I praise God for you! Have a blessed week! You just don't know how much this means to me because I was about to just give up because it seems like I am never going to be ready to take this test.
When building a life we dream of, we tend to want to give up a lot. It just means the journey is tough and the☁dream☁is bigger than our current situation. I hope I don’t take anything away from what you commented, but I just want to share…I was in nursing school about 7 years ago and during that time, I was living out of my car, I was living alone in a new city and I was being bullied at school. Months went by when every single day I wanted to give up. Mentally some days I completely checked out, other days I physically wasn’t there. But the one thing I remember doing consistently is SHOWING UP. No matter my mood, my energy, or how tough life got, I just kept showing up for myself. Eventually consistently showing up, lead me to finally get where I wanted to be. I look back and I feel so much for people that struggle and want to give up, I know so well it can be painfully hard. But KEEP SHOWING UP FOR YOURSELF. Eventually, you will be standing in a place you always wanted to be in your life, you will look around and be proud of yourself.💗 P.S. your lovely message made my grandma cry. she is proud of me, thank you.😭
@@thetutor_geek Wow you're so encouraging i am inspired! I want to thank you also ,you are very thorough teaching with these video's! I was completely lost with some of the Chemistry! Now after watching💡i get it! Thanks for all your incredible help and effort!❤ God bless you!🙏🏽
Hi, the only way I’ve learned is to memorize the nonmetals on the left side of periodic table. Other than that, it is possible to know a metal vs a nonmetal if you are given information of the the atoms characteristics. Such as malleability, boiling point, brittleness, electrical conductivity, heat conductivity etc. Hope this helps!!
Also know polar-nonpolar !! And how adding or taking away protons/neutrons will change the number, there were lots of chemical reaction and equation questions so study those well! know all the names like liquid to gas is vaporization. Know what a solid to _____ is named for (gas, liquid) Know how a hydrophilic substance enters a cell. If you go under sasha Lafleur's comment towards the top of this comment section, I gave some other things to study too. I took it a few days ago and crashed HARD on the science section. Unfortunately only saw this video come up in "suggestions" as I watched a lot of other TEAS study videos before my test. lol Let me know if you can't find her comment and ill get it c//p here instead!
Hi!- If you are presented with an electronegativity question, you will be given the electronegativity number/value. For example, the problem at 12:40 - if this was on the exam, you would be given the values of 2.1
Hi, I'm sorry to hear you're still lost. I just saw your previous comment from a few weeks ago, it mentioned you do not know bio and chem very well. I am guessing you have not taken them in college yet, I can totally understand how all of this is confusing then. The most descriptive content I have is my "complete Chem review" video. If you are unable to grasp the information on that video then I would suggest getting a Chem textbook online. Please let me know if you have any specific questions and I will reply as best I can.
Nice video I finally passed my exam,Thank God for Marcus who helped me.
I failed 3 times, i lost money to reviews that never helped but the major thing is that I've not lost hope
You will pass everyone has their own season, just keep going pray and believe you will receive

Thank you so much. This helped simplify the chemistry section. I feel more confident now. Please make more videos.

What to study for the reading section? Were the questions hard?

Do you have math for the teas
Hi, not yet. I know a lot of people use Brandon Craft, he’s on RUclips ☺️
Hi, check out #teaspro
what the hell where do i start for complete beginner you start talking about shells and losing them and i dont know what the hell going on D:

Btw, the shells I am referring to are the shells that orbit each atom, they hold the electrons.
Why couldnt highschool be like this?
