- In today's Trip Report I am flying from Dallas/Fort Worth to Helsinki with Finnair on board their Airbus A350-900 in Economy Class.

Thanks for the top quality trip report! Hopefully the new US services works for Finnair, they have had to cut so many Asian routes. It looks the HEL-DFW route gets the renewed cabins from May 11 on, with new Premium Economy class.

A German approves a Finnish beer? Wow. 😄 Oh well, Sandels and Karhu are by far the best mainstream brands in Finland. Don’t ever try any other cheap ones - they are absolutely disgusting! 😂

Super trip report, der Finnair A350 ist einfach cool! Ich wusste auch gar nicht, das die Airline nach Dallas fliegt, aber egal 😄. Das Essen sah wirklich toll aus, besonders das Frühstück. Viel besser als auf meinem Rückflug von San Francisco mit Lufthansa.

Look, everything seems to be clear and the trip to Helsinki was very good, but despite everything it was very good and great, a peaceful trip.✈️
Loved your informative video! I did not even know that Finnair flies from DFW to HEL! I worked for Finnair in the early 70s in Finland and at Schiphol in Amsterdam. Right after the startup of the New York service. Even in those days, the service was excellent. It is so good to know that they have kept up the standard! Only the aircraft have changed. We had the Super Caravelle and the DC8-62 combi at Amsterdam! Imagine in those days blueberry juice was not a drink! We used to pick wild blueberries in the forest! Nice to see the excellent quality of the meals, and a lovely warm breakfast! The A350-900 is absolutely perfect for Finnair. And such a beautiful cabin! Thank You!

In regards to cutlery. I guess its supoosed to be wooden for any course on every route. But talking from experience, Im crew, when we fly ex US when it comes to catering theres always something different or non standard. Or they didnt have it, didnt order etc. It actually happen to me too last week. Plastic instead of wooden.

limit 1 for the beer? are you serious? 🤨 I usually have a few drinks, couple beers and a glass of wine throughout my flight... never been an issue on any airline. I am surprised that they have limits on alcoholic drinks. Food looks pretty good though. Doing this exact flight in September, thanks for the report :)

Most I have seen are positive, same with this one. It is usually good :)
I think they don't allow metal irons etc on plane it can be used as weapon 🔪 so yeah they don't allow
