Nice preview James. It's another one of those watches I would have in my collection in an instant...if it were sub 40mm. No doubt it is one of Orient 's best looking watches. Those colours I would not normally take a second look at but they just work. Stunning 😮

It does have a bit of size to it but it has just really impressed me.

I fell in love with that green dial version the moment I saw it years ago, but it's all but impossible to find over here in the states. I eventually gave up on it. Great find James!

It is an incredible watch. Unfortunately this one is only borrowed but still great to have some time with it.

Really nice colorway, and the power reserve is a useful complication, and I wish more sports watches had that. I also wish more sports watches had drilled lugs. Look forward to your in-depth take on it.

Stamped clasp at this price level is questionable but it looks well made. I've had a few Orients over the years but for me the Triton Mini is the pick of the current range.

I have the same thoughts about the clasp.
The Triton looks great as well.

It's cool that they added a secondary strap if you want to change it to make it look like you have two watches

It helps to make that price feel a bit more in line with the watch. And always great to have that option.

It’s a great watch. I always felt it was a little too large though for me to pull it off, and I have a 7inch wrist. Yeah and that clasp, but that’s standard SOP for Seiko and Orient at this price. Thanks and looking forward to the full review!

The clasp was expected but I was surprised by this one. It is really nice.

Orient are so underrated, never had an orient star in hand but if I look at my kamasu for example, beautiful teal dial, sapphire, great bezel alignment etc, they leave seiko looking a bit overpriced and underspecced and I own quite a few seikos..

I think a lot of people are thinking the same.

It look bulky but what a nice watch, the clasp not sure, but power meter nice touch the rest is awsome, good choice, now waiting for the full review.

Green and Gold , the colours of the Australian flag . Can you change the clasp to something decent ? looking good mate

    • @WATCHingJames
      @WATCHingJames  Год назад +1

It does have a Aussie colour scheme.
It is a shame about the clasp

The power reserve need to be integrated better, it looks really odd

It is a bit dividing. Some love it. But other do not.

Accent threw me for a second, I thought you said "orange star diver", being from Scotland I don't have an accent. 😂
