- With a name like TongFu, there was no way I wasn't going to get my hands on them. I have a feeling that the name has absolutely nothing to do with martial arts, but I'll be damned if I'm not going to tie it into every ninja pun I possibly can! So, let's kick into it…no, let's make our way a-roundhouse…no, let's punch it up a notch and get into this set of TongFU!!!!

I have these pencils. I tried to use them a few times, but the triangle barrel was uncomfortable for me to hold for a long period of time. They are now used for a nice little display in my office 😂
Yes I use the sharpener... especially while coloring and trapped at a doctor's appointment, it becomes necessary.

From what I am seeing, I think they are around $20 right now. I'm not so sure you will get another set for much cheaper than that. Finding the Lost Girl I see for as low as $15 every now and then. Ill keep a look out for them for you 😉
And I appreciate the kind words. I think all pencils can give a great look...so the question is which one is actually fun to use 🥰
Perhaps I should try these on more types of paper, cause I found though they were hard and some a bit scratchy, they layered very well.
You aren't wrong. They definitely had a certain hard/toughness to them. But I bet if you pulled them back out you would find them a bit more enjoyable than you remember.... just a hunch 😉

Yes , I’ve had that set since it first came out ion Amazon. I really like the pencils. I find they blend well and had no breakage. Number 032 Dark Coffee, I consider it a shade too green to be considered midnight. It’s a great color, along with a lot of other different from the norm colors. I’m writing this early into the video and I can’t wait to see what you create.😊
I hope you weren't disappointed in the outcome!!! So is your Dark Coffee...brown?

I first found out these pencils from RUclipsr, “My Colouring Corner with Rene” and liked the colors in the set and of course the price back then. I’ve purchased other sets because of videos like these. I buy them while they are new to the market and highly affordable. I find that the name dark coffee is correct, because it looks like the bottom of the coffee cup that tends to taste like ashtray. LOL
