Wow.....I'm only a,few things from being ready for heavy equipment lol. I work in a Trans shop. Been in it for a year. Only really missing 3/4 drive stuff and a long 1/2 inch drive ratchet
Interesting, I've had more issues with Milwaukee batteries than Snap-On. I've also mostly moved to the Milwauee stubby. The CT761 has a little more jam but the stubby fits in so many more places.
I’ve had the opposite experience with the power of the tools. I only use 6ah batteries on my stubby and it’s insane what that thing will break loose. My co workers borrow it all the time when their ct761’s won’t get it out
Bro What’s your location? In which country you are living? Cause I just going through my 1st year Apprenticeship, anything you wanna share with me please regarding heavy equipment technician
I use standard from 7/8" inch and up, but its almost always still on metric fasteners. They are just close enough and my standard 1/2 drive set goes bigger so that's what I use. 7/8 for 22mm 15/16 for 24mm etc etc.
For your long matco ratchet if it doesn't fit in the standard holes use a unibit and drill it out bigger and it'll fit just fine I took the Pittsburgh break over made it into a flex ratchet and half inch drive use the unibit for the handle to fit through the existing hole worked perfect you'll like it being in the hole on the sides instead of just laying up on top it's all depends on you just trying to help you out
@@benjamin_axios8926 just the standard 3/8 drive non fuel version. I don’t use it all that much on equipment but it does come in handy a couple times a week usually.
Are used to have a complete set of expert sockets were talking complete complete set every size and shape you can imagine and for the life of me I can’t member what I don’t do drugs kids
125$ to rebuild ratchet and 100$ per battery for new batteries. Sold all my 14.4 stuff and have milwaukee m12 now. Much more affordable line of tools and they perform much better in my opinion also
@@benfairhall5331 Yep I was there for awhile. I don't regret switching at all though. Just wish I would've went straight for the Milwaukee to begin with.
So I don’t have to pull a 6ft long 1500lb box around the shop all day. I also have a 6 foot by 4 foot cabinet and a 2 shelf work bench full of stuff that would usually be in toolbox if I didn’t have them. If I wanted to pack the box full of stuff to look cool I could.
Good selection . Interested in seeing more content .
Nice collection
Very nice!
Nice setup..

Same here with Batts. Tried to warranty. No go. Put in big vise and smashed. Bought milwaukee ratchet and batts.

@@ethanvanzee964 I've got the 4AH battery. I'll have to pick a 6AH and see if it makes a difference.
@@BlindBatG34 did you pick one up, I think it's night and day personally
What do you use to clean your white US general tool box?
I really don’t clean it very often lol. But when I do I just use glass cleaner. Seems to be the best thing I’ve found so far for cleaning toolboxes
What did you use to make those custom wrench holders?
Its just solid copper wire. Pretty small gauge don't remember exactly what size. And then just coil it around a broom handle.
You can use the spring style hydraulic hose guard too

Watch videos an ask questions. Heavy equipment as well
I thought you would have used standard quite a bit

Still selling the Snap on Electric Ratchet @Ethan Van Zee?
She’s gone sorry
@@ethanvanzee964 appreciate it. It looks like you work at a Cat dealership. Could you do a video of tools you would recommend a starting tech to have?
How much you wanna sell that 14.4 ratchet for?
Just sold all the 14.4 stuff yesterday. Sorry
Lemme buy the 14.4 stuff
Don you use an Electric ratchet at work or no?
Yeah, I had the snap on in this video but I sold it and have a Milwaukee now. Comes in handy for tight places
