I just got randomly got this video recommend and I love seeing videos like this. You can pick up a tool and say ya it's for a compressor bolt on a caterpillar '98 models built on Wednesdays that disappears every 3 minutes and you have the tool and remember which one exactly. I wish I could absorb half of this knowledge and experience. Thank you for the video!
commenting from my wife's acct....just a tip/option...if ya wanna save space, take the old spring style hydro hose covering and use it as wrench holders.
Nice video man. Always nice seeing another diesel techs box. Especially when it comes to the truck side. Not to many of us putting videos out that I know of.
You have a great arsenal of tools. You are like me you love having tons of extractor options. I'm always getting more types of extractor tools to have just in case. Alot of people think we are wasting are money and maybe we are but it's better to have it when u need it
Exactly! I seem to be the go to guy in the shop. I'd rather buy it and never use it than be sitting there pissed trying to rig something. Love your videos too. Would love to see an updated tour.
hey, its good to see a real tech out on RUclips ! love to see the realest! good video! make videos of the stuff you are talking baout like the little bolt thats hidden !
Love the tool arrangements.. And most seemed used well.. I have never used a Snap-on tool, as I am a marine technician in India. Would like to put my hands on it, to see what quality they are. Though I have managed to get my hands on German tools of Knipex, Gedore, Wera and wiha.
I am over in Ireland and just seen your video.I am a plant fitter for the last 20 years I do the the brakes with the same method as you do . But you have a lot of expensive tools . I have a lot of mid range tools that work fine . Snap on are very dear over here I priced a set of spanner’s yesterday and they wanted 1000 euros “ 1150” dollars for them not worth it .loved the video
Well that depends, 1967 I bought all snapon tools and used them 60 plus years And they warranty them all those years 16.00 dallor set of combo wrench’s worth 390.00 now
Had to send you a quick message after watching your toolbox inventory. Very nice toolbox. I love my Snap-on toolbox! Your box is not as big as a lot of the toolboxes that you see here on RUclips but, it's packed full of very nicely organized for as full as your box is! Some people will find something to bitch about anyways. It's not easy to make 1 of these toolbox inventories by yourself! Well thank you for sharing your toolbox inventory with your very nice collection of tools with us! Keep on building your tool collection! Gregg
Yes you are correct actually. A 72" is a pretty good size toolbox, but as I said here on RUclips. I have a pretty big toolbox myself (Snap-on 84" Epic toolbox, 2 - 30" wall lockers, hutch, & 2 - upper storage cabinets) & mine sometimes feels small watching some of the toolbox inventories here on RUclips. I believe that he understood what I was saying. That he needs more space is all. So put your big boy panties on. I wasn't criticizing him. Justin needs more space so things don't have to pill tools on top of each other. Makes you not as productive having things pilled on top of other things. I realize that he said that he wasn't using the tools/toolbox because it's at his home. Critter's Snap-on toolbox will get you to my inventory here on RUclips, just so you can see that I do know what I'm talking about. Gregg Muse
Do you try to do snap on exclusively obviously I can see you got tools from everywhere but I’m thinking about becoming a technician once I’m out of the military I’m an aircraft mechanic in the Air Force and we use snap on hand tools exclusively I know the prices are pretty pricey but you get what you pay for 100% just trying to get the opinion from a seasoned technician love the video
Not anymore. When I started I was a poor kid and truck accts were my only option, didn't have money to buy outright so I made payments and Snapon was only constant dealer. However yes, when it comes to ratchets, basic wrenches, and screwdrivers I 100% swear by snapon. But now that I'm older have a little in the bank, I can look around for the best deals. Most tools now have a warranty so I don't care about name.
Can you make a video on how hard it is working on garbage trucks vs regular OTR trucks? I’m a garbage truck mechanic and there is nothing easy on a garbage truck.
Not easy at all, you got that right! I spent most of my career at an international dealership and a few fleets. Now I'm strictly mobile and have had 2 weeks of nothing but f550s. The 6.0 makes me pull my hair out.
AT 17:58 you show adaptors, do these work by allowing a 12point wrench or socket and then adapt down to the 6 point size stated -- ruclips.net/video/7SGUWzZWyLw/видео.html Cant seem to be able to findthem, is there any part numbers

When your grandson gets to that age and he needs to “rummage through grandads tool box” he’ll have a field day.
Thanks for the diesel powered tour. 5 Starz.
Snapon flankdrive plus wrenches (all metric here) are awesome.

If you don't want that wireless test light Id take it lol
I agree on the MATCO locking flex head. the lock sucks. mine is like that too
I've had my hard handled Snap-On screwdrivers for 30+ years. Would never trade them. Force yourself to use yours for a week, I think you'll agree.
I’ve had them 60 and I still love and use them
There high price but so was i
This is happiness ❤️😀
Diesel tech apprentice here, loved the tour. Slowly building my collection up, got a long ass way to get to you!
Snap on was good back in the day but Milwaukee be on it

“Your box is not as big as a lot of boxes you see here on RUclips”. ...who says that? 🤦🏻♂️
It’s a 72”. That’s a BIG box by anybody’s standards.

Where did you buy the grey trays you use to organize?

What brand are the 3/4 drive deep impacts? They were in the back left of the top drawer. Thanks for the content.
I was wrong. The are 1/2 drive axle nut sockets just large sizes up to 38mm.
21:00 also known as the Jeremy Clarkson drawer
