Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
      -Romans 12:2
When the Bible speaks of the world, it’s speaking of a culture that is largely hostile to God. That culture is on television, in the music you listen to, and in movie theaters. It’s a culture that basically says, “Do what you want to do. Please yourself. Do whatever it takes. The ends justify the means.”
But the Bible tells us, “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think” (Romans 12:2).
Another version puts it this way: “Don’t let the world around you squeeze you into its own mould.”
All too often believers allow the world to influence them more than they’re influencing the world. Secular thinking creeps into the church, and as a result, we disregard what the Bible teaches and live the way this culture tells us to live.
However, we won’t find the happiness that we’re looking for. Instead, we’ll find emptiness, misery, and dissatisfaction because we’re out of God’s will.
Someone once asked a concert violist how she became so skilled. She gave a two-word answer: “planned neglect.” In other words, she neglected everything that wasn’t related to her goal, which was to be a master violinist.
If we want to be followers of Jesus, there is an element of planned neglect as well. It means staying away from the things that pull us away and drag us down and embracing the things that build us up and strengthen us in the commitment we’ve made.
We present ourselves to God, but at the same time, we don’t conform to this world.
Romans 12:2 goes on to say, “Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect”
God’s will is good. Some people envision God as the ultimate killjoy. When things are going well in their lives, they think God wants to crash the party and make their lives miserable. Yet how far from the truth that is. God’s plans for us are good.
The Bible teaches that God is good. It also tells us in Psalm 84:11, “For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right”
If the Bible tells us to stay away from a certain thing, it is for our own good. God is not trying to make our lives miserable. He wants us to reach our potential and live in the perfect plan that He has for us. His plans and purposes for us are good.
Reject conformity to this world’s system and its self-indulgent ways, and instead be conformed to the image of Jesus. As you do that, you will begin to discover His plan for you.
Don’t be afraid to surrender to Him. Don’t let this world squeeze you into its mold. Live the way that God wants you to live.

Man this entire prehistoric Pokemon Region is truly something beautiful to behold. Combining the Main Story, Post-Game Story, and the DLC and it truly feels like everything had come together in a cosmic sort of way. From Team Arc being lead by one of the professor's closest friend, on top of said professor being corrupted by a Legendary, and the DLC adding on the Hybrid Pokemon and the existence of a second sight. Overall this Fan-Game really does show how amazing it is to see not only the new Fakemon based on certain extinct animals (Self-praise for the Cryolophosaurus idea), but also seeing the Primal Forms of existing Pokemon like the Paldea Starters and the Fossil Pokemon, heck, we even got Spliced Versions of the Starter Pokemon to see what typings they would've been like before they found a way to truly revive them. To commemorate this series in its entirety, I'll be showing off all the members I'd use if this Region were an actual fan game. So without further ado, here are all the Pokemon that joined me on this magnificent Adventure throughout the Paleon Region:
    *Paleon Region Fakemon Crew*
Spinozar (Water/Dragon), Spliced Ankylotus (Fairy/Steel), Spliced Flightor (Psychic/Electric), Qwattzulkey (Electric/Flying), Primal Zebstrika (Steel), Primal Rampardos (Steel/Poison), Primal Bastiodon (Ground/Steel), Primal Archeops (Ground/Flying), Draneura (Dragon/Bug), Primal Aurorus (Electric/Ice), Huskilisk (Dark/Ghost), Titanost (Ghost/Flying), Bledgere (Rock/Fighting), Cryoliage (Ice/Grass), Therrislize (Fighting/Steel), Primal Skeledirge (Ghost/Fairy), Eeveon (Normal), Heliulphur (Fire/Poison), Dominex (Dark), Pristidge (Dragon/Steel), Lyzogorg (Fighting), Rabirapa (Normal/Grass)
Well, only thing I can say is this; thank you Froopy for a region and story semi-inspired by a classic Dinosaur movie franchise. Though the door to Paleon's chapter of storytelling may have closed, that's just the beginning of another Region in sparked from another's mind, so let's see where this journey takes us next, shall we? Until next Story, until next Chapter, I'll be waiting for both Trainers and Masters alike to rise to the occasion.

popular misconceptions. I'll mention a few and one is, Dodos aren't actually evolutionary failures, the lack of predators didn't make them bad at all, they were actually well suited to where they lived (also no they weren't actually stupid). Another is that Trex's senses aren't bad, it's eye sight was better then a hawk, it was very intelligent and it was very quiet when walking. Also it's arms weren't useless and it wasn't a scavenger like that one guy taught. Also another one, Trodon is actually not considered a species anymore, it was a mix of several dromaeosaurs. (Also why is Indoraptor feminine? Considering it's one of the only male dinosaurs)

Troodon is a genus, not a species, and most paleontologists still consider it valid, even after moving some (but not all) of its specimens to other genera. And none of the troodontid genera were dromaeosaurs, being a different, albeit related, clade from dromaeosaurids.

I stumbled on this video earlier thanks to the mysterious power of the youtube algorithm, as someone who hasn't played a Pokemon game since Platinum I am not sure what inspired me to start watching this, but in virtually one sitting and literally one day I went through the entire thing without a single moment of boredom. This was a completely flawless combination of paleontology and pokemon, as well as a flawless homage to the Jurassic franchise. Everything was so well thought out.
I have to admit that I am not a fan of the Galar fossil Pokemon, but as someone from the UK I did find their inspiration being very entertaining, those kind of mismatched and misunderstood dinosaur constructions are a popular gimmick here given that they were entirely our own doing, but I found the lack of properly assembled alternative put me off them. I know that sounds strange since I never played Sword or Shield, but since it was based on my home region it was one of the few I looked into. I think your proper reconstructions of them were amazing renditions.
As an added bonus to me - the Prometheus inspired mon had me over the moon, my favourite piece of mythology is often something I draw inspiration from in world building, and seeing it so appropriately used here was like this region was made by someone who knew the script to have me enthralled ahead of time.
There is so much more I want to say, but 10/10 the whole way through. With you currently tackling a cryptid theme I do wonder just what you would end up with if you tried to connect the surprisingly frequent extraterrestrial pokemon lore in a science fiction region.

Fun fact! A saber toothed cat actually had a fairly weak bite (1/3 of a lion's bite) as the teeth are hollow and easily broken. Research suggests they would stalk and pounce on prey unexpectedly then use their powerful arms to pin the prey and their teeth may have been used as a swift kill bite like tearing out the throat or severing the carotid artery. Some theories even suggest that the hollow fangs acted as a primal vampire, used for sucking up blood from the prey! Given this, personally I would have given Persian its own ability. Hollow Fangs, when delivering a fang move such as crunch or bite, the pokemon's power for the move is doubled (ie; crunch becomes 160) but their defense falls harshly making them a bit of a glass cannon. Or if going the vampire route, when using fang moves the pokemon recovers 1/3 from the damge dealt.
But loving the region! Awesome depth and lore

For that Dark type you needed, why not have a Ancient Gengar based on conspiracy and mythology of the Annunaki or fallen angels or even their children the Nephilim.. Since the Annunaki were believed to be beings with 4 to 6 wings, if you based this ancient Gengar off them you could make it a Dark/Flying type BUT if you make it based on the Nephilim you could make them pure Dark types and make them really big compared to Gengar's original form, like 8 ft or something.. I figure if you based it off the former, it could explain the Giant Gengar from the anime where all the Dark type Giant Gengars caused so much chaos that Arceus had to destroy them and made Kyoger cause the biblical flood and they was killed off becoming the Ghost/Poison types we know today because biblically speaking when the Giants was killed off their spirits entered the earth and became demons..

With Scarlet and Violet in mind, while I understand why you didn’t design anything else if a game like this was actually made I think there’s a fairly descent change that we’ll see character customization being added onto the game (with the protagonists you drew being the “canon” design for the characters)
Great work on the region by the way, love the concept of it and would honestly like to see a similar concept in a real Pokémon game at some point (as a nod to how we’re trying to bring back extinct animals right now)

Hey! I finally finished the video, had to do it in parts.
I've loved every second of it, tons of amazing designs! (Spoilers probably for anyone reading)
Admittedly, for my character since it was mentioned no Pokémon from outside of the region were 'allowed' was very difficult to write a piece around it how to incorporate the story related Gardevoir from the main character who has Battle Bonded with her during the events from Sinnoh with Team Galactic (Long story, lol)
But you've actually helped me out a ton by incorporating the Researchers from other Regions.
My characters as mentioned in the former comment I left before I began watching it have gone to a ton of regions all Real ones as well as many 'Fake' ones.
My canon is that my characters were strongly suggested to the Professors from those other regions as their #1 pick, this is how they got her there in the first place and once her Battle Bonded Gardevoir spoke through her trainer, Champion Dayenna, and with all those high recommendations from other researchers they saw it through the fingers as if she is just part of their group.
Especially near the end, the fight against those Hybrids I managed to really put out a very dangerous combat scenario where not only were Mal's Pokémon K.O'd (if I written his name correctly)
But also Asiye's (my main character's best friend who has her genes half in the Asone Region and half in another) Pokémon as well as Dayenna's own Prehistoric Pokémon those she had with her for training.
This was the one and only time against the two Hybrids where it became necessary for her Gardevoir to step in due to the massive onslaught of Pokémon.
Battle Bonded with Dayenna they ended up beating the two and she captured the two in a lengthy but very difficult fight.
As a final part since she had a healthy little rivalry with Beth who decided to see where she lived, to study what strange environments are within her realm and what Pokémon she captured.
This region has been really amazing to see, too bad I got it recommended way too late.

For a pre-historic themed region, you definitely need a Ground type Eevee who maybe has scales or even looks somewhat skeletal, as if it were a fossil. You could do a dragon type Eevee as well and make it look like a dinosaur and give it a super high Sp. Attack

      Break Free.

Honestly I think the grass starters final form could have had the club as a large barrel cactus and it's main body and legs being based off a saguaro cactus letting it look like a fallen cactus and a barrel cactus next to each other as its "freeze" pose and having like a torterra esk head leaving it looking ferocious like the rest of the final starter forms but still letting it have its "fight, flight, freeze" basing

I heckin love this idea so much xxxx for a normal type route 1 pokemon maybe it could be based off a Procoptodon, which is an extinct species of giant kangaroo, just a thought, keep up with this amazing region idea, I heckin love it xxxx also to answer your question, I would love a dragon type eevee, in a prehistoric region, dragon makes the most sense xxxx I also think Dodoi should evolve into an Argentavis which is basically an extinct species of MASSIVE eagle xxx

@42:00 as a Dark type idea you could play around with the idea of a big bang wiping out all dinosaurs. So some kind of dark type that sort of 'looks like' the big bang that could wipe out the dinosaurs' life. Perhaps like a 'doomsayer' kind of link, like a creature that is based around a big bang prophecy. Maybe even some 'peekaboo' connection that it scares people with big 'bangs', hehe.

I don't like headwear either, my character that I have used to plow through every Pokémon Region both fake and real she doesn't have much headwear either.
At it's fullest extent, hairbow but mostly just not.
Going to watch this whole video and leaving another comment to see if it also has a story line and everything so I get to play pretend my character is going through it as well.
Paleontology is one of my most favorite subjects just as Pokémon is my favorite Games.
I have big hopes for it, it looks amazing already!
Edit: 22:33 Exactly what I was hoping for so badly, just needed to edit it and add this in.
Designs so far I love them a lot, Marsupup I thought could be a very old form of Growlithe and Poochyena before they split, I can see that.
Idk yet if that was what you were going for but it is amazing.

When you redesigned Amaura I kinda hopped you’d change the antenna into lightning bolt shapes, that thought reminded me of the Atopodentatus. The story behind that is that the first fossil they found had it’s head crushed, so they thought the mouth was kind of like a zipper up it’s ‘snout’(? Can’t think of a better word for it) which was a completely different shape than what it actually was, and it was only after they started discovering more fossils of it that they realized that the mouth stuck out to the sides (kinda like the way a hammerhead sharks head looks like, but just the mouth)
If I had been watching your videos while you were making this I would have commented SO MANY ideas, but at the moment that’s probably the adhd induced insomnia lol
