I love how your mum handled the situation. She helped you hold your chin up and that gave you the strength to fight another day. You are a great woman brought up by a phenomenal woman ❤️
An inspiring story but I wish she would use her experience to encourage other young girls to take care of themselves and avoid early sexual experimenting. 90% of families, schools and communities are NOT supportive at all of early pregnancy.
I agree with you. Lakini she is just telling her story how she saw it and how she experience it. Her story is one in a million, very few get the support that she got, i think that is the message😊
beatrice munene yes that’s the message. I am in no way supporting teen pregnancy. I’m saying, give girls a second chance rather than casting them aside. We have preached a lot about keeping young girls safe. I am in full agreement of that. I’m telling my story because of the 90% that aren’t supportive
I’m speaking to young girls who are pregnant. Young girls who are mothers. Young girls who are broken and have lost hope. Because of the 90% of schools and communities who are not supportive. It’s to inspire them not to give up. I do not advocate for teen pregnancy, it is not an ideal situation, but I’m laying bare the reality of the hundreds of thousands of teen pregnancies and mums that are already existing. Avoiding early sexual experimentation, I’ve seen many give support to young girls to help prevent that, and is an initiative too, that I strongly support. I’m just giving an additional, and different perspective, to play a part in leaving this world a better place.
