So my biggest advice to new people is this jobs, a marathon, not a sprint. You can say you want all the OT in the world, but eventually, you will burn out and burn out badly. Take your 40 hours a week and your days off because your mind and body needs that to survive.
Just to let you know CCAs do get overtime after 8 hours in a day and double after 10 in a day. It doesn't count towards your 40 hours tho. If you worked four 10 hour shifts you would be at 32 normal hours and 8 hours of OT.
