I am quite clumsy in cracking eggs. Cracking with one hand is definitely very cool. After seeing your tip, I will give it a try first thing for breakfast tomorrow. Your sunny side up is lovely :)
I don’t have any luck cracking it on a flat surface either LOL. I always get egg everywhere! I have not mastered doing it one-handed however. I will keep practicing thanks for the tip.
I remember the rubber coin purses. I’m vegan, but my stepdtr (14) eats eggs. I’ll share this with her. I showed her your “no flip over easy” trick. SO much easier. Btw, I love your voice.
Life changing !! Lol I can't crack an egg one handed but I never really wanted to try again ...I am so trying this next time I crack an egg ! This was so helpful :) Get ready for some comments because I am catching up on my video watching ♡ ;)
LOL Mrs. Kringle. I had one of those change holders back in the 70's!! Great video and demo. I can't do that. I have a touch like an elephant! My hand would squeeze right through and I would get egg all over my hand! LOL. I guess practice would make perfect in my case! Tfs. XOXO :)
This is how I crack my eggs too! I find using the rounded edge of my go-to bowl works like a charm every time. I "cracked up" at the coin holder! I had one in green when I was little that felt like my own guarded treasure. LOL
Rounded edges are a must for me, flat surfaces have never been my friend no matter how gingerly the tap. I have fond memories of my grandpa's coin holder and him thumbing through it to give me a tip for being his beautician as a kid. I think I had a cheaper "jelly" version in the 80's but didn't work as well as the true old school ones.
This random elder had her share of those little coin purses back in the day -- So maybe I can transfer the skill of opening them to eggs! Thanks for the demonstration.
I do remember those ruber coin holders!!! lol...amazing technique, you have perfected this
I have such good memories of my grandpa with those change holders and I'm actually bummed you can't find them anywhere anymore! I'd totally have one!
Such a great technique! I usually use two hands for cracking eggs...I will practice with your technique, thanks for sharing!
You're very welcome! 😀

Thanks! I'm sure I broke quite a few in my early days but that's what practice and scrambled eggs are for! ;-)
The curse-word-free-egg-cracking method! I've never gotten the hang of this but it looks so pro, I'll need to practice so I can impress myself! 😆
No spicy language required method! HA!
Very useful. Well explained too. 🔔
WOW, its magic!! I have to test this my friend!! Big like!!
Thanks so much!

Flat surfaces are not my friend. I'm glad I'm not the only one! :-)
Great video! 💕I remember those coin purses! 😄💕
Thanks! Those coin purses are pure nostalgia!

Thanks so much! I appreciate it!
Very handy technique, I will try it also without making a mess 😀👍
Practicing with a bowl before going right into a recipe or skillet should help lessen any mess. You'll do great! ;-)

Yeah I never thought about me cracking one handed until so many people started mentioning it to me! LOL It can be your next culinary party trick! :D
Awesome tip!
Thank you!

I absolutely loved those things! My grandpa had one and would give me a quarter for combing his hair and putting aftershave on him as a kid. :-)
I did it! I did it! Two out of three and I was making scrambled anyway. :^}
That's awesome!! Get it girl! 🍳
nice👍
Thank you!
Great tips. I do that too but never really thought about how I did it haha. It makes sense though.
I didn't either until so many people kept asking how I did it! LOL
Mrs Kringle's Kitchen You did a great job explaining it and a awesome video too.
Invent new cuss words. Rofl! I can crack an egg like that...sometimes
Yeah, you should see some of the things Mr Kringle has to edit out! 😆
