same thing happened to my docrace turbo kit. I had to fab up a custom mid pipe section that connects to the down pipe because my flange wouldn't mate flush with the turbo. There is some room for adjustment if you have the two piece manifold but I couldn't make it work.
did the same kit in 2020. same problems, called On3 and it was a "on we've never had any issues like that". so far: - "strategic clearance" dump pipe - "strategic clearance" on down pipe to keep it from rubbing on valve cover - same issue with oil return line, mine ended up pinching off the fitting into the oil return - wastegate was leaking like a sieve, had very sketch boost control overall if doing it again i'd be using a kit from speedtech or ces and just spent more money. perhaps it's better fitment with the smaller turbo, but the 61mm is not an easy job. To me, the kit is 85% towards being great bang for the buck, but that 15% is agony to get just right. ps, if you need a replacement part for the intercooler piping, "you will have to get that welded yourself, we don't have any spares."
Lol oh yeah they've told me the same thing. Definitely 85% bang for your buck though...anyway it's a low end kit and you get what you pay for right.... A couple small tweaks here and there would make it much better.
Mine sealed, i used the provided vband but it broke after the first time taking it off so i got a stronger one. I did notice however it has a tiny leak on my pte 6266 now, so maybe ill try the same thing you did here 🙏🏻
Maybe you could have loosened up the exhaust? I know that would only put more strain on the manifold and turbo also tho... Your fix makes it look dope like a fancy ass vban connection, I agree with adding the length to it gives a better fit overall
Why did you go with the on3 kit? It seems odd since the rest of your car is top notch. Not saying on3 is shit but it’s like a mid level single turbo kit.
For the windshield washer run it through the rain drain next to the dme. Super simple avoids burning . Takes bout 30 min
Awesome tip! Thanks bud
Your videos are a great help have the same kit in progress and all your content has helped me out. Keep up the good work bud.

Another great video can’t wait to hear the 🐌!
Don't some v-bands require a fire ring to seal? Love this build by the way 🔥🔥🔥
Hmmm I've never heard of a fire ring..there are two types of vband joints. Flat face and male female grooved. Grooved will give best results.
Link for the flange you used? I bought 3” one and doesn’t fit in the turbo by a millimeter or two
The flange came with my turbo bud.
Relocate that washer reservoir fillerneck. Feed it through the wheel well to come out near the firewall.
Thanks I will do that!

Yeah I think my kit had some poor quality fitment compared to other people with the same kit....

Hey do you have a link for the seal that you welded on to the Downpipe? I’m experiencing the same issue
The flange came with my turbo.
Same problem I’m having causing my down sensor not to read
2yrs later how is this kit performing?
The on3 kit is junk.. the arashi turbo is Excellent! No issues
Junk in what sense?
Turbo lasted a month. Fitment is garbage too.
Damn. I just bought a kit. So i shouldn't expect it to last long. What amount of boost you were running? And how much hp you got out of it
Was running 26psi can't hit any higher than that on the on 3. I think I had the 61mm though.... Around 500whp

Only because I can't justify the cost of other kits. Once the turbo blows I'll get a high quality Garrett or something.
Sucks you had to do that. Hope your out boosting around soon.
How did that happen can it be the spacers that are on the motor mounts
No its poor manufacturing
