I don't know how many Korean teachers have received proper education or not but it is clear that this teacher does not know how to analyze about Indians properly. Nor is it known that education is not just for making money but to analyze life properly and tells how to think. You did not learn Maths because you knew (a+b)^2 but you learned mathematics by analyzing any questions and how to solve them. But to analyze this teacher one cannot even read the true meaning of Indian history. I don't think all the teachers would be like this because I have analyzed properly and the answer of any one person is not considered to be the answer of the country. It doesn't matter how powerful your country is or how big its economy is, that kind of teacher always remain in the country and that teacher is considered educated but still illiterate (pade likhe gawar) in our country. TV에 소개된 인도 관련 프로그램을 통해 인도라는 나라에 흥미가 생겨 강연을 시청하게 되었는데요. 여러모로 유익한 강의였지만, 말씀하신 불평등에 대해서는 모두 동의하기에는 의구심이 드네요.. 인도의 현재 대통령은 여성이고, 그것도 가장 낮은 계급입니다. 이 점만 보았을 때에도 강의 내용처럼 인도 사회가 불평등이 만연하다는 것에는 수용하기 어렵고, 인도 여행 유튜브로 보았을 때에도 불평등에 관한 부분을 찾진 못했습니다. 그래도 역사적 사실에 대해서는 유익하였습니다. 잘 들었습니다.

말씀 잘 들었습니다. 저는 인도에서 8년 정도 살아 본 사람입니다. 말씀하신 내용은 말로는 들어 본 적이 있습니다만, 실제로 일어난 일은 저의 주변에서는 거의 본적이 없습니다. 시청자들은 강사님께서 말씀하신 내용이 실제로 인도에서 거의 대부분이 일어나고 있는 일로 생각할 수 있을 것이라는 점이 아쉽습니다. 제가 생각하기는 극히 일부의 지역 일부의 사람들에게 이루어지지 않을까라는 생각이 듭니다.

영상 잘 보았습니다. 우리들로서는 이해하기 힘든 풍속과 관습이 많은 것을 잘 알겠는데, 그러한 풍속과 관습이 생겨난 배경과 맥락을 함께 설명해 주셨으면 올바르게 이해하는 데 더 좋지 않을까 아쉽습니다. 하마터면 이문화에 대한 혐오감과 이질감만 조장하지 않을까 걱정됩니다.

I don't know how many Korean teachers have received proper education or not but it is clear that this teacher does not know how to analyze about Indians properly. Nor is it known that education is not just for making money but to analyze life properly and tells how to think. You did not learn Maths because you knew (a+b)^2 but you learned mathematics by analyzing any questions and how to solve them. But to analyze this teacher one cannot even read the true meaning of Indian history. I don't think all the teachers would be like this because I have analyzed properly and the answer of any one person is not considered to be the answer of the country. It doesn't matter how powerful your country is or how big its economy is, that kind of teacher always remain in the country and that teacher is considered educated but still illiterate (pade likhe gawar) in our country. All i have to say that i don't think like this I don't know how many indians are like me but it is understandable that some indian I said some not all of them are think like this teacher. Again study carefully and analyse carefully how things work in india not only india but in the world. I am not saying that you people should love India and Indians, it depends on you how you have studied and analyse properly Indian history because Despite being an Indian, I still not been able to understand India and indians properly. You have to spend a lot of time to understand Indians. Don't judge Indians with this lovely 40 minute video.Can you know about India and Indians from any RUclips video, I would not say that to know about India and Indians you will have to talk to all Indians because that is not possible, you should read Indian books. One should talk to different Indians if they cannot do these things don't convince themselves that now I understand Indians.

서양 문명이 동양문명을 앞도한 이유가 결국은 칸트같은 계몽사상가 차이였군요. 동서양 모두 말도 않되는 전근대 사회를 서양은 종교를 버리고 이성과 과학 그리고 무엇보다 인권을 존중하는 민주주의를 발전 시켰지만 동양은 이것을 하지 못했네요. 특히 형식적으로나마 민주주의를 지키는 한중일과 다르게 인도는 전근대사회에 아직도 머무르고 있네요. 여러 생각을 하게 만드는 명강의였습니다.
2000년과 2005년에 인도 베낭을 다녀왔어요. 강의들으면서 그당시 받았었던 충격이 생각납니다!

TV에 소개된 인도 관련 프로그램을 통해 인도라는 나라에 흥미가 생겨 강연을 시청하게 되었는데요.
여러모로 유익한 강의였지만, 말씀하신 불평등에 대해서는 모두 동의하기에는 의구심이 드네요..
인도의 현재 대통령은 여성이고, 그것도 가장 낮은 계급입니다.
이 점만 보았을 때에도 강의 내용처럼 인도 사회가 불평등이 만연하다는 것에는 수용하기 어렵고,
인도 여행 유튜브로 보았을 때에도 불평등에 관한 부분을 찾진 못했습니다.
그래도 역사적 사실에 대해서는 유익하였습니다. 잘 들었습니다.

말씀 잘 들었습니다. 저는 인도에서 8년 정도 살아 본 사람입니다. 말씀하신 내용은 말로는 들어 본 적이 있습니다만, 실제로 일어난 일은 저의 주변에서는 거의 본적이 없습니다. 시청자들은 강사님께서 말씀하신 내용이 실제로 인도에서 거의 대부분이 일어나고 있는 일로 생각할 수 있을 것이라는 점이 아쉽습니다. 제가 생각하기는 극히 일부의 지역 일부의 사람들에게 이루어지지 않을까라는 생각이 듭니다.

인도 인구가 13억이오. 8년 살면서 몇이나 만났소, 1억을 만났소? 살면서 돌아다니는 반경이 서울 만큼 크오? 누구나 사는 반경은 동네 한바퀴입니다. 자신이 직접 경험한 시간적 물리적 량은 그 한계로 인해 아주 미미할수 밖에 없소. 미국에서 총기 사고로 죽는 사람이 매일 수십 명인데, 미국에 사는 사람은 그런 총기 사건 사고를 막상 겪는 일은 거의 없소. 그러면 누가 맞는 거요? 그런 총기 사건 사고 들어는 봤지만 거의 모른다, 그런 일 거의 없다 라고 말하는 사람이 맞는거요. 아니면 틀리는거요. 자신의 자그만한 경험만을 전부인양 생각하는 건 우물안 개구리 (井底蛙) 라고 하는 거요.
강의에서 교회에서 설교하시는 느낌이 나오네요^^ 나쁘다는 이야기 아닙니다. 말씀에 텐션이 있어서 집중 잘되었습니다

대기업 오너의 가족은 대부분 대기업 오너가 되고, 교수나 법률가 의사와 같은 자녀 또한 같은 부류의일을 할 확율이 높고, 공장에서 생산직으로 일하는 부모의 자녀는 비슷한 공장에서 일할 확율이 높습니다
카스트 제도는 이처럼 직업군으로 이해해야 하고 자본주의와 다른점이라면 그 경제의 활성화 정도에 따라 직업군의 이동이 원활하거나 고착화 된다는 점이다
브라만계급이 최상위 계급이 된 이유는 사제가 신의 이름으로 그 사회의 정치 문화 사회를 총괄한다는 것이다
흰두교라는 종교는 일반적으로 우리가 생각하는 하나의 신을 섬기는 그런 종교가 아니라
지역이나 집단의 샤머니즘에 가까우며 그 형태는 모두 다른 구조를 가지고 있어
하나의 종교로 이해하는 것은 어리섞은 일이다. 그들에겐 불교조차도 흰두교의 일부이다

영상 잘 보았습니다. 우리들로서는 이해하기 힘든 풍속과 관습이 많은 것을 잘 알겠는데, 그러한 풍속과 관습이 생겨난 배경과 맥락을 함께 설명해 주셨으면 올바르게 이해하는 데 더 좋지 않을까 아쉽습니다. 하마터면 이문화에 대한 혐오감과 이질감만 조장하지 않을까 걱정됩니다.
카스트는 힌두교도에게만 해당되니 시크교와 무슬림이 더 많은 힌두교도들이 오히려 소수임..인도를 =카스트로 구분하는 점을 조심해야 함. 성씨를 말하지 않는 문화는 그래서 생긴 것일 뿐
요즘 인도 전문가라고 유튜브에 자주 나오는 교수님들이 있죠. 이분들 나와서 물론 인도는 깝니다. 하지만 까지 않고 인도만의 특성이라고 이 교수들도 늘 지켜주는 게 다르마고 카스트제도죠. 열불내면서 흥분할 때는 주로 영국제국주의가 인도를 Devide and Rule로 분열시켰다고 할 때 목소리 높이구요. 이슬람에 대항하기 위한 인도민족운동에 불과한 힌두교에 대해서는 심할 정도로 옹호합니다. 중국만해도 루쉰을 비롯해서 개화기에 유교를 사람 잡아 먹는 종교라고까지 비판하고 공자 비판 많이 합니다. 그런데 인도는 이런 계몽주의 전통이 전혀 없죠. 19세기 이전에는 있지도 않았던 힌두교라는 허구의 종교 단어를 갑자기 내세워서 파키스탄 몰아내고 14억 인도란 나라 잘 세워 먹고 오늘날에도 꿀빨고 있죠. 그러면서 인도인들 틈만 나면 영국이 자기들 분열시켰다고 영국 욕합니다. 분열 안 됐으면 무굴제국을 이어받아서 적어도 북부는 이슬람 지배에서 살았을 한심한 힌두인들이 이런 소리 합니다. 이런 힌두교가 지금 14억 인도란 나라 성립의 1등 공신인지라 계몽주의할 생각은 1도 없이 아직도 전근대적인 걸로 만족하는 게 한심한 인도인들이고 이 사람들과 친해야 먹고사는 한국의 속칭 인도전문가란 사람들입니다. 배은숙 강사님 이 강의는 어찌보면 너무나 당연한 강의임에도 지금 한국 현실에선 이슬람교문제도 아닌데도 용기를 필요로 하는 강의가 되어 가네요. 인도전문가들은 힌두교, 다르마, 카르마 비판 절대 안 합니다. 배은숙 강사님의 명료한 강의와 용기에 감사드립니다
