I can so relate. My beautiful husband has been disabled for 37 years. Sometimes it's hard on our relationship, but we will be married 40 years come this May, and we have had extremely hard times and amazing great times. I do have to say he is 90 percent a positive person even though he is in great pain. Praying for you.
I can also relate. My husband and I have been married 37 years yesterday and we both are very much for better for worse in sickness and in health. He is absolutely committed to me and I to him. He does everything he can to help me he prays for me, he cries sometimes about my condition. He is just a wonderful support. He helps me in any way he can. And my prayer goes out to those who do not have a supportive spouse. That has to be significantly heartbreaking and difficult.
Happy Anniversary! I am thankful always for my husband's support. He hates that this happened to me because of the pain but I also hate the way it has affected what all we can do as a couple. He hates how much I am in pain and I feel bad it affects him.
My husband has gone in the opposite direction and thinks I should be able to do normal things like a normal person. He has asked for an open relationship and is currently doing that if I like it or not. He has started traveling without me and is seeing other people. He told me that he feels obligated to me. I do all that I can physically do but I can't travel or do many things outside the home.
Oh my gosh. I am so sorry you are dealing with this. My husband always says for better for worse and I feel like we are always in the worse stage due to my pain. I push myself and then I pay for it. God Bless. You deserve a healthy relationship.

You are a strong woman as well to support him. Thank you!

I can relate. My husband is very helpful. Thankfully and my daughter is a mid-level provider and is a great support.
That's wonderful!

I can't travel much anymore either.
@@lindasplaylist100 maybe try those accupressure pads or pillow. That has helped me.
