Most epic, convoluted ending to this film. Mecha Godzilla is reeking havoc putting the blame on Godzilla. After he and Kong fight they fight Mecha Godzilla. Kong splits its head with the axe only to have King Ghidorah's remaining head come out and the two haves of the mech head become the other heads while the arms turn into the wings.
Odin this axe is really cool. The light effect on the Godzilla spine looks just like in the trailer when Godzilla blasted it with his atomic breath as Kong swings it at his head. I'm looking forward to this movie. I'm glad you decided to do a request prop like Kong's Axe. I know you'll find a cool place to hang it in your house. You've out done yourself this time, this is probably the most mighty axe you've made, an axe even the king of skull island himself would be proud to wield. Well Done Odin :)

That "translucent foam" is the same material of some "magic sponges" they sell in my country. Basically it's a consumable sponge that you can use to "cancel" stains on surfaces and walls like you would do with a rubber. The foam has to be wet and is partially consumed in the process. It has the same look, consistency and makes the same noises of what Odin is using for the lighted part.
For those glowing parts (in all projects), how about using a 10-15mm clear acrylic and wrapping thin foam around it? If you sand clear acrylic, it will diffuse the light evenly. That way it will both be durable and look better, i think.

bringing up storm breaker: why not do a quick video fixing it? cut it at the straightest part of the handle near the head and use a wooden dowel as a peg to reconnect it with some gorilla glue. re-wrap with flora tape and bam: extra video for the week.
The axe in the movie was made by a wise kong way back in the war of gojiras vs the kongs It was made from a muto leg,which can disable gojiras atomic breath ability temporarily,and a gojira's dorsal fin,which can be magnetized to a gojiras atomic breath if not disabled,and charges up with the atomic breath which makes the axe glow and be powerful,and a little bit of rope that cam from skull crawlers skin or tail.
