The bottle opener is one of those happy “accidents”. It fits both the prop and the character perfectly. I could totally see this as an interesting conversation starter. Whipping out your sword to open a bottle for someone at a bar post-con
Right? :) She even opens a bottle with a blade in the movie. -I can't tell which blade, but it did happen.

Yeah. Now that totally makes sense, just like how Thor uses his own Stormbreaker to open beer bottles in "Avengers: Endgame".

A sword that acts as a bottle opener is my kind of sword.
And Valkyrie's.
Most swords can be used as a bottle opener, real ones anyway.
All swords are bottle openers if you’re brave enough.

@@redtail-hg6bp Yeah, but this ain't DIY Prop Shop. Odin has made projects on this channel that were made on DIY Prop Shop before such as the Flux Capacitor from _Back To The Future._ I know that was a commission but still though.

I don't expect you to do this, or at least not soon, but i was wondering if you could please make a Fallout power armor set. Preferably the T-51 power armor, but of course, any is accepted.

I'm curious why T-45? I've always preferred T-51, since it was in the original game.

i always love seeing new ways to make grips for things. not just from a prop make perspective. i wonder how a mostly eva-foam grip would work practically. maybe on a small hammer or gardening tool.
Most are pretty squishy. The grips on my Sakarrian swords are pretty squishy, and may not survive a 3 day con... This stuff is tougher, but the paint may wear.

I just found this channel a few days ago and you have helped me so much. Ive been driving myself crazy trying to figure out how to make the tessaiga for my Inuyasha cosplay and all of your sword videos made so many things much more clear. Its the first cosplay ive done and trying to figure out the tessaiga amd best way to go about making it. Im glad i found this channel. What drew me in was the gundam suit. Im an avid gunpla builder and was like ooo cool!

The deaign is beautiful. It looks like a full size rendition of a Fairbairn Sykes fighting knife. If it had the dimensions of the knife and was actually made of quality steel, now that'd be something.
