in 1965-67 I was a baby and my father was stationed there. We lived in the apartment housing. my mom said on one side of the hall way was the bedrooms then on the other side were the dinning and kitchen. there was a communal bathroom for each floor. we had coal shoots for heating and cooking. and down stairs there was a very nice lady that would do the wives hair for .25 cents. I like your housing better. (funny how times change). love the video thanks for showing a little of where I lived for my first 2 years of life.
awesome video, thank you. we're coming from korea and these places are all half the size of our apartments here. kind of scary. it looks like the outlets are both 220 and 110. does this mean the house is wired for both? and are the base houses on 50hz or 60hz. i can see us plugging in a vacuum cleaner only to have the 60hz motor fry.

I was there in the early 80s I always thought the housing we had back then was nice. Hainerberg had big rooms the kitchen was small but they had beautiful hardwood floors big bathroom had a lot of fun in them places.
Like 5 days, but they determine your position on the housing list from when the service member departed their last duty station. My husband had a month long TDY between his last duty station and getting here, it bumped us straight to the front of the list. Most people spend about a month in lodging.
