German homes do not come with central air and heat correct. Can you find out how much extra it will be to have a ductless or mini split installed. I hate being Hot and I love being cold. I know in Germany it's cooler as far as temperature but I may need an
a/c and they aren't big on a/c in their houses.
Many buy the portable AC which many are purchasing from people as they PCS. It’s get hot for couple weeks but that extreme. Like now I have fans going and pregnant and it’s tolerable. All my windows except 2 small ones have shutters so it keeps sunlight out

Think about a closer that you have in states where you put cost in your front entrance. Includes shelf and bottom portion to store stuff. Depending on size of family determines how many you get.
We made room a closet and my husband had some from IKEA too
How long did it take for your car and hhg to arrive? How long in advance did you ship your stuff prior to your report date?
Reminder I came during COVID so longer. I got here Dec and didn’t get car until Feb. I shipped car off month of Nov.
Household Feb as well and picked up in Dec

Yea still through Army housing just civilian off post. I search homes.mil which housing rep will direct you too unless you find own landlord
How does lqa work
You alloted a certain yearly. If you find less than then that will be calculated and you’ll react bi-weekly including utilities

House is contracted through Army housing and landlord. Certain areas for active duty and some on homes.mil for civilians
@shesgoingplaces8847 oh ok, thank you. We are headed there with the military and I know there are multiple layouts for homes there in Weiden, but I can only find two, so I'm just trying to prepare for possibilities 😅
