Thanks man! Alex G is the truth!!!
Charles Griffin Gibson hey you're here to!
I've not listened to besnard lakes in years...still love it.
Same here.
Sweet memories of this live at psych fest in Liverpool 2013, holding hands with best mate as the sound travelled through our bodies.
Love you guys. Cant wait for jan 2021. lets start the year on a positive note.
This song reminds me of my ex. One of the last memories I have of us together this song played and it brought us both to tears
This song is amazing
This sounds awesome.
I love the Mile-End (Montreal) locations in the video. The scene where the guy walks along a red brick building took me a while to place but it is rue Marmier under the Rosemont overpass just east of de Gaspé. The outside of 'Albatross' is Cinéma Beaubien; he walks from the park across the street. The underpass and metal stairs are at Clark under the rail-road tracks. The inside of the theatre and the stairs the woman goes up are in Cinéma L'Amour on Saint-Laurent. (thanks Street View!)
Making music that stands on its own merits, with such grace deservedly has earned my respect. Mesmerizing performance!
Great song!!!
I LOVE THEIR " HOWLING OF EACH OTHER". besnard lakes! g1
My bloody Valentine add The Beach boys vocals circa Pet Sounds equals sublime music! I can listen to this track non-stop!
Perfect, simply perfect. You don't see very often videos that go so well with the music. Just beautiful.
Gorgeous song!

along with Like the Ocean part 2, that song is just amazing
A good song made great by the final verse when everything kicks into high gear.
Awash with guitar/vocal nirvana.
2010 killer track.
hey man, kaijinseng could be the next big teenage poet we've all been waiting for since the demise of myspace!
Thet Sorta remaind me of MBV but they are brilliant another great Montreal Band
i was turning it up right when they were turning it up
fuckin awesome
Cold War was rough
I could never relate to something like this . :E
I first heard of them through Mojo cuz of their Beatles cover.
Beach boys please
but i agree, they are good
Definitely shoegazi but beautifully blending those elements with great songwriting styles (Cocteau Twins, Bloody Valentine, Curve, me likes!
and it's pure pop at the same time, god this is good
and you like it too!
I found this band but then forgot them without blinking. It took me ages to figure what they were called because I realised they were something else. I just randomly put in on google "similar bands like Cranes" there were 17 pages but I was determined. At the 16th page I recognised the bands name Instantly boom! I found them and I was incredibly happy.
oh yeah, can't stop staring at my chucks
lordy
@JackSAusten I'm 100% sure the video is about spies decoding messages in the "number sations" way. You know, shortwave radios with strange transmisions.... anyone else?
Smashing! WOW! Both the song and the video left me totally speechless ... But did anyone actually catch the meaning of it? The lyrics are kind of weird...
@kaijinseng damn I wish I could listen to any shit in Tokyo
@kaijinseng you talk alot of bullshit haha, but maaaaan do you speak the truth! It's a song to watch the sun rise to, a brilliant blast of ............. brilliance, glory.
sorta? they could stick this on the end of loveless and say it was an old forgotten ep and no one would call cheat
No acepte imitaciones.
Ok
You’re OK
Shoegaze for the kids who grew up in the 60 's, methinks.
sounds more like the new Murakami or smth
Assange is against sad tyran
test
The album it's boring, but this track it's amazing...
but what a stupid band name
Mike Mat it's the name of a lake in Saskatchewan
I think it's meant to be stupid.
boring
@kaijinseng damn I wish I could listen to any shit in Tokyo
