I remember first met this song on MTV Brazil and it was like 2010-2011.
Today I have a massive nostalgia listening this song and remembering that gold times!
@@Digo951 verdade Man
I'm glad that little boy found his mom
I am dizzy over this song. Both versions! I love that they have carved out their own sound. You can't categorize them. Push the boundaries my Black Mountain friends!
Uncle Eddie was a great guy!
Great fuckin guy.
@@peedfarded oh he was a real good guy
@@undeadshook He was a great guy!
He brought me here as well👌
letterkenny buddy, friggin nice little tune
Even the iTunes album description says "Led Zeppelin influences are recognizable on 'the hair song'". I think its fantastic. The mind likes recognizing music weather you like it or not.
This is, easily, one of the BEST videos, ever. That kid on the skateboard is adorable and his love interest is really pretty. And the scenery, is simply magical and almost other worldly. This RULES. :-)
Wow. You never been to London, Ontario I guess? It is a nice place.
+Jethromcsheepherder I wouldn't go that far. It's a place.
it's life, easy to explain, when i watched this videoclip i felt ALIVE
Reminded me of watching Dogtown & Z boys. Love this video!
Great song, love that syncopation! This song sticks in my head...
Am I the only one in love with this girl!? Absolutely stunning!! :)
Very smooth summery tune, waves of the 70's, Zeppelin-esque, beautiful harmonies, can't stop listening to it.
I heard this on letter Kenny TV show I'm in love with this song gets your rocking at 55 I still love a good rock song.
Ten years !! Time flies...
This is, easily, one of THE best videos, ever.
Ah just remembered this song and damn if this music video doesnt embody the feeling when this song first came out, skatin around Vancouver in the summer, making friends and going to shows. Great music.
One of my favorite songs by black moutain!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe the most beautiful video I've ever seen
I heard a lot of Zeppelin in this too, but the overall guitar sound to me, especially around the 1:30 - 1:40 ish area is reminiscent of Some of Soundgarden’s stuff from the Superunknown - Down on the Upside period. Which makes sense, because they always list Led Zeppelin as a major influence.
...the drums are very Matt Cameron-y.
I've discovered this awesome band thanks to DAVE GROHL.....
Saw them in Philly, Friday night opening for Primus. Had a great set. 👍🏻
Seeing them tonight at The Greek in L.A.
So pumped!
So flippin' awesome!
They're a Canadian band which means they get avoided by mainstream American and British radio and video stations. They play rock music, which those same stations usually stray from. They play real instruments, and most kids these days like their music electronic and dubbed. This list can go on, but there's a character limit to what I am sure was a rhetorical question..sorry, but I felt the need to answer it.
Jethromcsheepherder why is there so many awesome Canadian bands that no one knows about! I grew up listening to Matthew Good Band and Our Lady Peace, the tragically hip, big wreck etc. but that's only bc when I was a young kid we got much music as a channel in America around the last two years of the 90s and early 2000s. Otherwise I never ever would have known such great music existed bc you are right, it's never played on mainstream America. I guess I'm just lucky that even being like 6 years old around that time that I had my father who played awesome music so I formed a taste for good sounds. Electronic music is trash, it doesn't take the kinda talent playing an instrument and knowing how to write your own cords takes. I wish rock would come back and drown the trash out there today. The billboard music awards were on tonight and every single song and 'artist' if you can even call them that bc they certainly aren't musicians.. sucked so bad I turned it off before my ears burned. It's all about money and sex appeal now. It's not about real music anymore...
My favorite concert this year
SOO STOKED TO SEE BLACK MOUNTAIN AT BIG TIME OUT THIS YEAR WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
This band were awesome when I some them live a couple of months ago. Their albums are brilliant too!
Great song! Great band!
Buenísimo vídeo! Esta canción se ha vuelto de mis favoritas. :)
this song makes me wish I was 16 again
Me too!
Super song......if could be really on entire radios like today's superstar
@forgottendreamsband
We shot part of the video in London. The caves are called Bruce's Caves and they are located outside Wiarton, ONT. The ruins are at Spirit Walk in Wiarton, ONT and are called the Corran House ruins. They are the ruins of an 18th century mansion.
The hippie grunge sound with enough Homage to the past..you gotta love it!
I don't know why, but this reminds me 'Almost Famous'
I really realy like this. Makes me happy!
That was precious.
Love it!
god, what a gorgeous song
luv this song
i search for this song for years OMG IM SO HAPPY 😭😭😭
Cool was looking for black mountain in Australia and came across these guys not bad!!
wao! i found this video today while i was looking for the song of the musical hair... and i loved it! i'm going to look for more music of that band! it's so amazing!
Spectacular band.
Fantastic song guys...really good..all the best from Australia
Was just looking through the big time out lineup and i might go just for these guys!
Awesome!!!
Love the vibe. Being young and crushing hard.
best song of black mountain
Why this song isn't on the radio yet is beyond me, and so what if it sounds a little Zeppelinish, who can't use a little more Zep in their life, melody is great, harmonies are awesome, rock solid drumming, great hook, what more could you ask for?
Cool song. Love it here in Black Mountain where I live.
Amazing!
Great song!
These guys are great
That was so fucking good! And what an awesome place to have a gig.
Letterkenny brought me here. It's nice to see rock's not dead.
yes and blues and folk as well...and some earlier rock n roll stuff as well...
Best 2010 album! Wilderness Heart!
yeaaaahh nicky killin it
this is my favourite music video ever actually aha
My daughter has gone off one direction for all time low. I shall show her this tune. Love from the swanky new forest in wessexshire
thank you, awesome...
I laugh and laugh when people say anybody's ripping off Led Zeppelin. Half of Led Zeppelin's songs were note-for-note covers of old blues artists.
H0bhamwich......so true.... Led zep were masters at what they did, but they should have given credit to the original artists. They passed it off like all those early hits were originals, when they were basicly straight up remakes
grifftrain Thank you, dude. No one acknowledges just how much they grafted their sound from blues with no actual alteration.
+grifftrain True
I thought it was pretty much a given
Maybe 5% of their songs.
great song reminds me of black mountain. one of the best rock bands currently
Reminds you of black mountain?? This is black mountain...
it's ok he's been smoking
Yeah sort of sounds like B.Mountain, weird they look kind of them too.
@@agentsmidt3209 They ripped off Black Mountain by turning themselves into clones?! How could they do this?!
sweet. great song.
If you look close, these girls come out of the recordstore with no record. WHAT THE FUCK MAN!
artists will always emulate their heroes in one way or another..thats how they find their sound, by falling short of their influences.
_Noggin_ I don't care, this world doesn't have music like this anymore, it's all shit. We need rock bands again
It's so true!
First time i heard this band it was in Original Skateboards Go Long Board 2010 video. Easy listening I like it.
best song of nowadays! Why there are very few views?
mob2season bc the world doesn't know good music anymore. There is so few of us who know what's good and what's trash
não sei por quem eu me apaixono no clipe ♥
Ja pensou encontrar uma banda tocando um som no mato aqui no BR? Ia ta tocando um cover de legião se pa...
nice to see others brought here by letterkenny. uncle eddie would approve!
Uncle Eddie was an atheist....
@@Highhook1818 Makes sense, what kinda god would let gail take down a 90+ year old man
Thos song is the beauty:
I've listened it thanks an indipendent radio inmytown (radioantenna1) in italy .
i rememberet it... in the best periods of my life
I hear Kashmir!! ^_^ How nice to hear some old roots in new music!
*_Bom demais_*
perfect music
I dont think this sounds like Zep. It soounds like awesome. and love. and happiness a. and rock and roll.
and that is what it should sound like. forever. it rocks. period.I dig it. fuck yeah!!
Maybe a little like The Black Crowes
JOSH U RULE MON!!!!RULED LONG AGO BABYO!!!!!!!!!!
So, so good. Thrilled that these guys and REAL music in general are starting to get exposure once again. If you like these, check out the bands DeepSeaGreen and Radio Moscow.. very similar old school, fuzzy, psychadelic tunes.
just heard this on uk radio 2....never heard of them but got a kind of Blind Melon vibe
First time i heard this band was on tony hawk project8 with there song Drugnauts, this band is good listing while driving or sk8ting and having a good time.
haha, i really saw them live in a forest-concert in holland, was great!
@eldoctorfunkenstein As a matter of fact you are right! It was shot in various locales all across the city. At 0:55 is the local indie record shop, Grooves. The actually shot quite a bit of footage from the show that night as well, although none has made it into this video.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Que sonzera!
Old song... Searching around for more songs like this from this band... Sad to say this is their only gem in my opinion. If anyone else can lead me to another one of their songs that jam like this it would be much appreciated. Lol
David Cunningham man u should listen by them “Tyrants” or “Space to Bakersfield” or “Stormy High” or “Wucan” or “Mother of the sun” i mean... the list imo is endless, they have a lot of secret gems
@@gerardospirito3869 i appreciate it man!
Uncle Eddie was a hell of a guy!!!
What a great fucking guy!
awesome
Free 😎🔥🔥🔥
Who's here because Letterkenny introduced you to awesome music?
Muito bom ^^
They were fantastic on Jimmy Fallon. Check it out!
This show is an argument for why Winter should be abolished.
@BastardOfLight
I think the ruins are the Corran ruins, which are by Wiarton, and nears the bruce caves
Hold me man, I'm freaking out!
good stuff
@crazymetalfingers at 1:13 you see the keyboard that he's playing. It's called a Memotron, which is an electronic reproduction of a Mellotron. The Mellotron is what King Crimson used on "Court of the Crimson King".
Nice!
Valeu Gastão!
Gastão e seus ótimos quitutes
Men essa já é dica do Chuck Hipólito desde 2011, grandes caras grandes dicas
Bands and artists do that all the time, you just have to dig a little to find it. Im sure a lot of people were listening to the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones, thinking "why cant they be more like Mozart?"
outstanding
i wanted to go see them at sasquach fest but coulden't get to whistler from vancouver
@Sony88still I believe his name is Nicky Young... I read the name in an interview with the director of this music video. She also says he's 19 years old skateboarder from Toronto.
@kokeBrazil - Plenty of them up here in Bellingham, WA - hippie chicks, cool bud, and the great outdoors; that's what I call a great combo
