I like your style kid. Keep it up, half my playgroup and I have just gotten into legion so we need more content creators to focus on it! Because we're kinda dumb 😂
I seem to have started at the perfect time then! In all seriousness, this is probably my most mistake-ridden video lol, and I seem to have started as soon as a new surge of players have hit, so the timing couldn't be better!
A couple of updates of things I got wrong: Luke cannot use force choke as it is a dark side power, master of the force is still really strong. Turning the tide gives heavy units inspire 2, which allows them to remove 2 suppression from friendly trooper units. So it is a solid command card. Lando's flaw card can be played after turn 3, but only prevent's you from using his command cards or contigencies on the turn it is played, it is not a permanant card. Relentless doesn't give you an extra attack, just a free attack action. if you want sacrifice to make a unit invincible for a turn, k2so dies at the end of the round. Landos two pip, ace up his sleeve, only does the text of the stuff below the place line when discarded, and does the text above the black line when played, not both. If you noticed anything else let me know!
Something I don’t think you mentioned that’s very important: if you want sacrifice to make a unit invincible for a turn, k2so dies at the end of the round. Another thing is Landos two pip, ace up his sleeve, only does the text of the stuff below the place line when discarded, and does the text above the black line when played, not both. This is true of all cards with black lines on them, and you’ll see more of those. For lando, this means discarding it only gives one order, not three Thanks for taking the time to make this great video
Thanks! The K-2S0 not mention was due to me misreading the card, the Lando one was just an oversight. I'll add them to the corrections, thanks for the encouragement!
When I started playing a couple year back I thought relentless worked how you described it but no. Relentless doesn’t let you attack multiple times in a turn, it just lets you use your attack action after you make a move action without it taking up one of the two actions you have. Yes this isn’t as good as getting two attacks and two moves but it’s still nice to have for action economy. I know it being classified as “Free” action is confusing and they should really reword it.
Interactions like this always confuse me, but thank you for helping clarify it. It still is useful like you said just not in the way I thought. I'll make sure to specify this in future videos
I'm really happy to see this video mate! I've just started playing Legion and I had the starter box set for the Rebels/Empire (I started with Empire). I've been working on building my Empire army list but I keep looking over at the Rebels that are waiting for me! :D I'm interested to know your thoughts on the unit upgrade expansions. Perhaps you could do a short video just talking about those. I bought the Rebel Trooper upgrade expansion... mostly because I wanted more aliens in my army, I'm not gonna lie! :D But I would love to know if they any are actually good for the 4 factions. You mentioned the generic Rebel Commander being a bit bad compared to Leia but I'd also like to know about the medical droids and communications unit that come in the command expansions as well as the trooper expansions. Thanks so much for this video! I'm getting some Pathfinders on your recommendation and maybe the A-A5! :D
Thank you! I did have a slight oversight in not going over the expansions, my research isn't perfect and they where missed. I'm definitely planning to make a video after all these breakdowns are down and putting anything I missed.
I own both empire and rebel upgrade/specialists I recommend them for sure (if you have to get one, get Trooper upgrade expansion because the Stormtroopers look BA. They also come with another unit card for Stormtroopers so now you can run 3 Core units. If you want to work on expanding your collection definitely go for a box of reinforcements instead
@@sea_triscuit7980 I picked up the Rebel Trooper expansion for £12 along with a couple of single rebel troopers. I now have enough to make 3 full squads of rebels and the alien models are awesome! :D I'll see about doing the same for the empire :)
Hello good video always like rebel videos, one thing I noticed you mentioned op luke using force choke, he can't, only dark force users can. There are 2 models in a strike team also.
Well then, the one time I went against luke he used a force choke, but it was against a newer player so I'll cut some slack! I thought I mentioned there where two models in the strike team, I'll make sure to make it clearer next time Thanks for the heads up tho, I'll make sure to double check the force powers next time!
Turning the Tide doesn't function like how you described. It gives Heavy units Inspire 2, which allows them to remove suppression from *other* friendly units when they activate.
I will add that to the corrections list. Making these video's have made me realize just how wrong I have played the game and some of my opponents have. But playing is a learning experience so thank you for the clarification!
Good overview. Legion has been a game that I dipped my toe in, but never went all in for. I do have a question: You mentioned that the Air Speeder is a unit that if you want to take, you should build around it. How would you go about building around it? Any tips on how best to use it? Is it worth running two? It's one of my favorite units in the faction, I would love to see it do well.
There is a competitive player who runs a double t-47 airspeeder list to great effect. Fifth trooper did an interview with him on their blog, so I would check that out for all the details! He is able to explain it far better then me
Eventually I want to have all that on my channel, but with limited time that will be awhile. For now, your best bet is probably fifth trooper, they have a pretty good blog that goes over the current meta and is an easy read
@@Wargamerofalltrades Groovy. I'll probably paint up one of the Mando resistance troops to represent Fenn Shysa too. Should be good times. There's even a Mando version of the landspeeder available now.
In my opinion not really, but the points buff does help a little. I did my best to not mention points to much in the video so as to make it last a little longer without me needing to remake it.
thought so but keep up the video making but best way to know the faction to play them you should play every unit a few times at least to know them rebels are fun but hard to master but the rebel vets heavy may be the best one of all rebels some of your research was dated long before you made the video thank for the video @@Wargamerofalltrades

Great video. Iam a beginner in SW Legion. Can anybody tell me were i can find the best army lists for the rebels? How looks the meta right now?

I will eventually cave and get into this game. When I do, I think I’ll be rolling Rebels, represented as Mandalorian Protectors (thank you, Etsy).
That's a great way to do it! I personally have a 3d printer to get the same effect across for my Shadow Collective force
