I really enjoy your Tiny Tips. Thank you!
I'm going to try to start them up again. It's hard to find the ideas without spending more money on art supplies. Thanks for watching.
Now this is something to try! I can see this on my collage backgrounds and as stand alone prints. Great and thank you.
You are so welcome! 😎
Great technique to try, thanks so much x
Glad it was helpful!
Ever use smart craft paint for Gelli Printing
Yes. Some colors work better than others. It’s pretty good though.
@@SusanCliftonArtist oh good, michaels is having a sale on that paint 36 colors for 20.00 ! Thx. I love all your videos ! Thx for the response !
Thanks for this video 😊 I was wondering if I could use an acrylic varnish to pull a print instead of the gel medium...I mean after all, it's a kind of acrylic paint, or am I wrong there? 🤔
I have no idea. I think varnish and mediums react differently. Varnish is usually thinner than mediums. I tried gloss medium and it didn't work as well as the matte. Maybe because the matte has more tooth to it. You can try it on an old gel plate and hope it doesn't ruin it. Good luck and share your results.
@@SusanCliftonArtist oh, I am not keen on taking the risk because my gel plate is fairly new. But I plan on making another one myself (it is SO addictive! 😁) and I will test it on my DIY plate and then come back to share my results 😊 thanks anyway, I already learned so much from your videos and I think you are a great teacher 😊
Could you use clear gesso?
I'm not sure.
Found this video interesting and informative and very helpful in use of markers over metallic im sorry but dod you say was it arcylic paint or watercolor?
acrylic paint and matte medium.
Would you need to use the clear matt medium with Posca pens? Thank you for this tutorial
You could do. But you don’t have to. I’ve used markers with and without mediums
Can one use any matte medium?
I'm not sure but I don't see why not.
Don't you need to leave it on 5 min?
If it feels dry I sometimes don't wait.
