Thank you so much Susan, I really really enjoyed watching you create all these wonderful and amazingly stunning prints. Everything single one is outstandingly beautiful too.and I absolutely love ❤️ ❤❤❤ and adore 🥰 watching you create all these superb pieces. I am so looking forward to seeing you start your piece that all these papers are for. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
I enjoyed seeing you repeat the technique multiple times. It helps me to remember the process and so fascinating to see the differing results, Helps me know what to expect from my experiments. Thank you!
Great video and fun to watch, but you don’t seem to be mentioning that you have to let the paint on gelli dry for a bit before you put the next layers on when you are doing image transfers.
So very pretty!! What you can do when you mix colors or anything in the bottles is to drop a marble in the bottle and it will mix easier and faster. You can just leave it in the bottle. I would recommend round versus flat ones like for floral arrangements because I think the flat would have a harder time getting shaken off the bottom.
Love this colour combination Susan. Turquoise, Teal and blue are my favourite colours. It looks like a macro image of natural turquoise stones. I don’t have rubber bands but will try this with hair bands. Thanks for sharing your work! 💚
Fascinating! I am so amazed at how beautiful these prints came out. Not a bad one in the bunch!!! Thank you for showing us the process. Every time I watch one of your videos I learn many new things!
Just a little envy here about your stash of Nickle Azo Gold. By the time I heard about it, everyone was out, and I nearly was. Definitely an amazing color. I'm new to your vids, and love your work!
I'm using it sparingly because my heart will break when I run out. I heard that Golden posted a recipe of colors that simulates it but I haven't looked into it yet. Thanks,
You can also put the rubber bands down first and then roll over them very easily with the black paint and you'll get a different nice but different Circle without the halo and it allowz a previous layer to show through . tha ks for the nice video and tips
I'm a newcomer to your videos and have enjoyed your videos. The prints you design are beautiful and individual pieces of art. I think these individual prints make a good background for a hallmark card. My question, have you ever tried printing on card stock and if so, what were your results?
I'm still looking for one. They are either too thick or too thin. I did find one that is marketed as a ink jet rice paper. It's a bit expensive. But works beautifully. If you know of a good paper that compares to Art Advantage please let me know.
Golden has also created a new color that is similar to Quin Nickle Azo gold. I started using Nova Color paints and they have beautiful warm colors. The recipe to create the Nickle Azo Gold is also on Golden's site. I was going to do a video on that but changed my mind. I also like Jackie's channel.
Try storing your plate between copy papers. It will absorb some of the oils in the plate that is causing the lacing. I read somewhere that it is the best way to store your plate when you are not using it. I put fresh paper each time.
I wonder ...if you did a first layer with the wrinkled rice paper and then did a second layer with the single rubber bands ...what would that look like.. Maybe like lily pods on a rippling pond...
Can you please let us know exactly what deli paper brand you use? I tried to find out just to realize there are different ones. Thank you for sharing your techniques and super wonderful results, I love it! Also what's the name of the plastic base where you applied the paint?
I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say plastic base. Do you mean the gel plate? This is made of gelatine and is made by either Gelli arts or Gel Press. The deli paper I use is one I found on Amazon. Here is the link: amzn.to/498i17b
Thank you for sharing… I’m still learning working properly with the gelli plate… don’t know if it v belongs to the rubber bray or my gelli plate as it’s very new… use the same colors but I got always lines and bubbles where the color didn’t stay… 😮 any ideas???
check your plate to see if there are round spots that look like oil. sometimes if you store your plate with plate that it comes with, it damages the surface. Try storing for a week with copy paper on both sides.
@@SusanCliftonArtist Thank you for this hint. I stored with kitchen towel… Do you clean it and wipe it with babyoil or sthg like this afterwards? I‘ve heard about this but never read anything in particular… only with kitchensoap or brushsoap and that’s it?? anyway thanks again
I like this one. The one you have must have too much wax. If it's too waxy then the paint won't stick. 120 Sheets Deli Paper Sheets (9 x 13 Inch) amzn.to/498i17b
As I watched you print I thought about the you tube that demoed you printing on paper backed fabric that had all the sayings...which then you cut into triangle shapes for your large collage...so looking at the organic shapes left on your gelli plate after the first pic up with the deli paper...I wondered if you could pick up the imprint of the circular organic shapes on the printed fabric...
Looking forward to watching you use these papers in your next collage.
I can't wait to start.
Would love to see the project that follows. I am so inspired to play more with my gell plate.
Please post!
Using the single rubber bands creates a beautiful pattern. Thank you!
One of my favorite things to use.
They are beautiful! ❤ I love the green.
That color is my favorite.

Glad it was helpful!
That was an awesome session, so many divine pulls! I am terrible, when I love my pulls I don’t want to tear them🤣🤣💕🇨🇦 up!
I hear you! But I love when they create something even better.
I am enjoying this so much--I have not tried to do it but am so inspired. so many "things" I can do with stuff in the house, Thanks
Thanks for watching!

Great suggestion. I will look into it. Thanks for that!
To answer your question, NO reason needed for gel printing! Great techniques, never get tired of your instructional demos. Great work!
Thanks for watching.

You are so welcome! Hair bands should work. Especially if they are stretched out.
Thanks a lot for this lovely idea of rubber bands....love to see this collage you made out of these paintings....❤️🌹👌
Thanks, You can find that video here: ruclips.net/video/IbCLJsjnMnI/видео.html
Consider using a chop stick to mix the paint in the squeeze bottle
Good idea. Thanks.

Gorgeous ❣️
Thanks.
Great wake up video with my cup of coffee this morning… thank you!
Thanks. I love to hear that. I also watch other creators in the morning. A great way to start the day and get inspiration.
Fabulous! Love it all
Thanks so much!
Enjoyed. Thank you for the video, I love how those rubber bands are great, I'll have to run out and get some rubber bands now.
I like string as well.
Loved this session, Susan !!
Thank you for your continued inspiring demonstrations /tutorials 🤩💕🤩
You are so welcome!
I agree, a very successful session. 😊 Looking forward to your I Am Okay!
Great!
Amazing collage papers!!! Beautiful texture from the single rubber bands 👍🏻
Thanks so much 😊
You’re amazingly creative with simple tools.
No need to buy stuff when we all have things around the house that make great marks. Thanks.

Great technique and just enough eepetition verbally. Thanks
Glad you liked it!
te pasaste, eres genial!!
gracias
I agree with Julie. Please let me know when you show the collage making.
Thanks. I will.
I’ve just found you and your work: I love it. Looking forward to seeing you do your collage with the papers! 😃

I have printed on card stock for postcards. ruclips.net/video/MQwXySqgyZY/видео.html I think they came out really good.
Oh boy! Thank you for the link to your video. Watching it as soon ad I finish this text. 🙂
Yes, beautiful.
Thank you!
This was so enjoyable! What medium do you prefer for adhering collage materials to board, and canvas? Thanks
I like the Liquitex Gloss Gel medium best because if I build up too much on top it still dries very clear.
Thanks so much Susan. I always love your videos; when I see one pop up, I always say 'Oh goodie" :-) @@SusanCliftonArtist
Nice "X" ring... Did you get it for Valentine's Day 💘💌 ?? Really nice papers
It's a puzzle ring. I've had it for years. I finally remembered how to put it back together. Thanks.
Love the results! What rice papers are you using now? Art Advantage doesn’t carry it anymore…
I'm still looking for one. They are either too thick or too thin. I did find one that is marketed as a ink jet rice paper. It's a bit expensive. But works beautifully. If you know of a good paper that compares to Art Advantage please let me know.
Jackie Bernardi has a video with how to create Quin Nickle azo gold.
I love this....can I ask a question...when I use golden fluids it never ever gives me a clean plate of color it always beads or laces up every time!!!
Try storing your plate between copy papers. It will absorb some of the oils in the plate that is causing the lacing. I read somewhere that it is the best way to store your plate when you are not using it. I put fresh paper each time.
Do you have a tutorial of you making a collage??
This is a recent one but there are quite a few here on the channel. ruclips.net/video/xF0rsa4gWfE/видео.html
They are lovely, but what do you use them for after?
I create a collage. I have a some videos showing how I use them. Here is one. ruclips.net/video/xF0rsa4gWfE/видео.html
I wonder ...if you did a first layer with the wrinkled rice paper and then did a second layer with the single rubber bands ...what would that look like.. Maybe like lily pods on a rippling pond...
Yea. I think I would have had to change the color order as well. 😀

i tried the rice paper but by the next day, it was so brittle that it crumbled before i could use it for collage. any suggestions?
What kind of paint were you using? Was the paint very thick on the plate. You need think layers. Try using less paint. And use acrylic paint.
OMG...I was trying to buy Quin Nikel Azo Gold a while back and could NOT find any! I had no idea it was being discontinued! :::crying:::
I noticed a new color from Golden called Azo Gold. Maybe it is similar.
this was great and beautiful!! if i can ask, what kind of deli paper you use? is there different brands? i bought some but paint peels off. thank you
