Your enthusiasm for this show is infectious. I understand wanting to reward your channel members with exclusive reactions to a show as great as this one, but I think I speak for many in saying that we would all like more!
One thing I loved about Stargate series episodes, If you tear back the layers beyond entertainment it teaches you things or at least makes you question humanity's agenda in certain situations. Like a simple question to be implied as you as an individual on what would you do. Love Stargate!
The Stargate community is the best. I rarely ever talked to someone who was a Stargate fan and is also really toxic. Also, the themes from the previous episode are in stark contrast to this episode. Both the Tollan and the Aschen are extremely advanced species the SGC interacted with but it's interesting to see how both societies dealt with people they viewed as "less advanced" as them. The Tollan were afraid to share technology because a society was primitive in their view. The Aschen took full advantage of societies being primitive to their own gain. It was a good choice from the producers in season 5 to show in consecutive episodes despite how advanced one might be, those advanced societies really overlook a lot of key things that makes humanity unpredictable and the capacity for humanity to think outside of their current situation. The issues brought up in this and the previous episode is why the Asgardians in this series are great.
This is an episode that some back stage stuff leaked from the producers awhile back. When it aired some people were confused by how the guys at the foot of the ramp didn't seem to concerned when Carter came flying out of the gate at the end. It seems the part of the scene with the guys at the ramp talking down to Carter was filmed before. Then later the scenes with Carter flying through and landing hard was filmed. Meaning the guys filming didn't know how hard it would look that Carter flew out and hit the ramp.
Ronny Cox sure plays a great, bad guy, though as with almost all the actors known for playing villains, I've heard he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. From, Robocop and Total Recall, to his role as Senator Kinsey in SG-1, he certainly knows how to make us hate his characters! lol Nahid, it's a blast for us to see how much you are legitimately enjoying the franchise and trust me, we can't wait for some of the episodes yet to come, we are on pins and needles in anticipation for those reactions.
Kinsey: " ...and then you decide they're the wrong kind of aliens. Who are you to decide our future?" uhm... actually that was Carter thank you very much. I decided to swallow my pride and play along.... Holding back an " I told you so"
Great Reaction bro, 😊❤ In this episode I always have this theory, it's been on my mind for 22 years when it first came out on Television 📺 in 2001. The Aschen Race that was cultivated in that world, could it be this is Linea, Ke’re own people? “The Destroyer of Worlds” makes sense to me.

Great story arc, isn't it?! I have to applaud the writers for these two episodes. I enjoy them every time I see them.
