    How can you connect a microphone to the same boss rc1?
    Is a mixer a good (budget) solution for making live performance?
    I was thinking of looping some vocals together with a guitar using an A/B switch, but the mic is not powerful enough to provide the signal strength required for a guitar pedal :/
    thxxx!!

    Hey man!
    Thank you for everything that you are doing helping people get in the spirit of the music! I had one question though, I'm running into a fender amp at the moment (it's the only amp I have) and it looks to me like you're running into a Marshall style amp. To my ear Tash's distorted sound is a cranked Marshall with reverb, delay, probably some compression, and a wah running into it. I bought a Marshall Jackhammer OD pedal a la Dave Simpson. I can get the deluxe reverb to do a pretty good job at pretending it's a Marshall for the early layers of songs, but the sound just isn't there when I flip on the OD pedals that I'm using for solos. To clarify I'm using the jackhammer as a Marshall Sim pedal to get the base sound of the fender close to that of a Marshall, setting up the beginning layers of looped stuff like that (For the early layers of notion my sound is bang on) but then when I kick on the distortion pedal it just isn't the same in the slightest, and I'm using the same OD pedal that Tash used for all of their early stuff.
    Anyways, short question is are you running into a Marshall style amp, because I feel like I've exhausted all options at this point and my short point in the signal chain is that I'm trying to get a fender deluxe reverb to sound like a British voiced amp.
    I should add that I've been thinking about buying a different amp for awhile. All I play on electric is Tash, John Frusciante, and Hendrix... and all of them use that Marshall sound for the most part.
    Your solo sound is closer than I'm getting at the moment, and I'm starting to think the amp I'm using is holding me back sound wise.
    Thanks dude!
    Joel

      No need for the edit 😏 - she adds a mic to her rc 30 or rc 300 that has pitch bend and octave change but don't quote me on that, check out the rc 30 tutorials on the playlist tab of my channel - what applies to the guitar applies to the voice set up as well.. 😉✌️ cheers

      jorge martin manzano hey there! Thanks for the love my friend and I’m happy the video helped you out. For the drums I use either pre recorded tracks on the computer or a keyboard that simulates drum sounds and run it through a loop pedal ✌🏼

    How did you connect your drum pad to the pedal???

    • @MelodicHeals
      @MelodicHeals  5 лет назад +1

      Lupe Ramirez the RC pedal series tends to have 2 ports on the pedal “a” & “b” so I run the guitar and the drums from the same loop pedal.

    • @luperamirez679
      @luperamirez679 5 лет назад

      Melodic Heals what cables do you use to connect the drum to the loop pedal? I just got mine and I’m trying to figure it out lol

    • @MelodicHeals

      1/4 connector it’s the same as guitar or piano lines

    Great video like always dude. Now are you playing all this through 1 guitar amp? How many watts is your amp? I recently purchased the spider line 6 V 120watt amp and waiting for it to get delivered! I really want a vox amp like Sultana but its really pricey lol.

    • @MelodicHeals
      @MelodicHeals  5 лет назад

      Nate on this video I ran it on an amp that is 120w at a lower volume. With the spider u may get a little feed back but it can be tweaked so it’s barely noticeable

  • @AnaRenaultMusic

    In Tash videos, you can see that she can take some layers off of the loop, how can we do that? For example, I'm playing the base with the little introduction, then I want to insert my voice, but I just want to hear the base, not the mini solo, how can I remove it from the loop pedal?

    • @MelodicHeals
      @MelodicHeals  4 года назад +1

      She has multiple loop pedals attached to a foot-switch that works as a stop button. You can do the same with 1 rc-30 loop station, just have to record your melody on one channel and record all the other tracks on a separate channel. When it’s time to do a solo stop all tracks on channel 2 and allow just for channel 1 to playback.

      There’s no ego bro , i just need to give them some help because i use loop station but people who plan to play like tash sultana there will be problem after watching this video , playing like tash sultana needs absolutely minimum rc-30 to add rythm on second channel and get ability to stop only drums , if they get rc-1 there will be waste of money bro theres no huge price difference between them , sorry for disrespect but its the truth 🤜🏻

      *This comment is being placed here for the benefit of our community members who are reading this conversation* not as a personal attack to Teoman
      I just went back on that comment. Just a quick note... all of my tutorials/covers have been made with rc-1. I even play her music live with an rc-1 and I am still able to isolate the drum loops at will. The only problem I see people having after watching this video is either lack of imagination or lack or resourcefulness. The Rc-1 is still a very good option for those who cannot afford to play $200 for a loop pedal. Not to mention all the pedals outside of the BOSS brand that do exactly the same thing and in many cases far more efficient for half the price.
      If you are reading this as a spectator I recommend you do your research and formulate your own idea.
