We got tattooed by the Legendary Apo Whang-Od on an absolutely incredible trip all the way to the remote village of Buscalan in the Philippines 🇵🇭
Whang-Od is the Oldest tattoo artist in the World and she started at the age of 15 by tattooing Head Hunters from Kalinga as a sign of bravery.
She is now considered the last Mambabatok of her generation and every tattoo is made with a calamansi thorn attached to a bamboo stick and the ink is a mix of charcoal and water.
