Just wanted to let you know the consult you gave me a year or two ago has really paid off on my fescue in Charlotte. This year I went after an aggressive and early fungicide program that finally took the turf into this summer heat healthy. It's thick, tall and dark green, only suffering near the corners where surrounded by asphalt. Thanks again for your time. Cheers!
Short of Roundup, I have had good luck with Speedzone EW. Goosegrass is easy to pull up immediately after a hard rain; you have a few hours to go after it.
Right on! Where do you draw the line regarding blanket spray and spot app? What was the cost per acre? Sometimes I like to just drop on the entire scene and skip the graffitti. Much respect for using a backpack- can't stand wearing those things! 😅 Thanks for sharing Big Guy! GEG
Something like I was spraying in the video that is that damaging to the turf I can’t blanket spray. If I just have a few weeds I might spot spray that kind of thing
I had some success with Dismiss NXT (carf / sulf) and Revolver (foramsulfuron) + surfactant. But pretty dang expensive mix. Dang you said it at the end! In tried to spray it out in the fall and seems like it knocks it down pretty hard when spring comes. On the PreE I’m giving Princep a chance for a couple years and see if that helps out.
Paul love the content. Been looking for something to smoke dallis grass in centipede other than glysophate. I’ve used Celsius with some results but was curious if you had experience with anything else.? Thanks
What do you think about using Specticle-FLO for goosegrass? I have read where some applicators say it works better than prodiamine and dimension! It's expensive though!

I have not been able to kill it with speedzone … I can with speedzone/Pylex combo
Thank you for the video Paul! Always look forward to watching!
Thanks for watching it
I 100% loved the pylex, dismiss content! Thank you Paul!

Love the hat. Go Pack! and thanks for your info. Very informative. How does this play out in Fescue in Midwest or Zoysia in SC? Thanks again
@@spack369 in fescue for goose grass I’d do something like a combo of Pylex or Tenacity with Acclaim extra.
Great video brother. Question, big Paul should you detach tall fescue every year?👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Depends on if you have a lot of thatch…. I don’t generally see much in fescue
@@PaulsPrimeCuts Thanks brother.👍🏻

Where does Goose grass come from?
Is it in the soil seed bank or does it blow in from the neighbours?
It will generally come up in the same areas every year
@@PaulsPrimeCuts Thank you Sir!
So am I understanding that you can use Tenacity on bermudagrass? It dinged the Bermuda but didn’t kill it?
I would prefer not to use Tenacity or Pylex on Bermuda but it will not kill it in the summer with one application
Just wondering if you added a little IRON, to your mix, would that maybe help the greening of the turf ?
Paul love the content. Been looking for something to smoke dallis grass in centipede other than glysophate. I’ve used Celsius with some results but was curious if you had experience with anything else.? Thanks
Clethodim or tenacity
Celsius/Certainty combo with a second app in 2 weeks will suspend the growth.

It’s really good on winter annuals but I haven’t ran it in the spring yet
Great video Paul! How’s the fescue yards looking?
Not bad … it’s been really dry until yesterday
What is the used of this grass, there is health benefits?
looking forward to some treatment options. I hate the goosegrass in my bermuda! Is there a pre-emergent that works well on goose grass?
I should just watch the video before commenting!
Glad to see you back.been awhile
Thanks
Could you mix pylex and triclopyr for goose and dalisgrass
Yes but that mix will probably kill Bermuda
@@PaulsPrimeCuts I didn’t specify that I’m cool season tttf my bad
@@GravesLawnCare it’s a yes on cool season
what do you use on Kentucky Blue grass to treat Goose Grass?
@@johnwood1099 tenacity or pylex
@@PaulsPrimeCuts Thanks so much.
Thanks so much.
ever tried speed zone?
It’s on the label… I use tons of it but never been able to kill goose grass with it
Any tips for goosegrass in p rye?
Things like Tenacity or Pylex are good and will not bleach the rye
@@PaulsPrimeCuts Acclaim? not in Bermuda but, in PRG, KBG...
Smoke that grass😂
Goose looks a whole heckuva lot like crab grass
No it doesn't. It has a distinctive white center..
@@ferraridan4883 I think it does smart ass
It’s hard to tell weed and grass on tv … in person they look very different
Hold the grass still. IT HELPS BYE..
Thanks bud!
Hey!
Sup!
Pylex....sucks imo
Ok
