The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Let the Abyssinians alone as long as they let you alone, and let the Turks alone as long as they leave you alone. (Suneni Abi Dawud. IV. p. 112)
Yes from what I’ve read and learned you have to be a paternal descendant from the tribe of Judah the 3rd son of Israel to be considered a Jew. It’s a bloodline but it got misconstrued into a religion when the Romans uprooted and conquered Jerusalem. The Roman’s empire was crumbling and the land fell under control of the Arabs and they took advantage and built the Dome, whilst The plundered scriptural knowledge got into the hands of the Khazarian king and it was chosen that they would convert in mass and assume the title of “Jewish” to distance themselves from paying into the interests of the Caliphates and east & west European churches.
The language was lost for a long time not spoken only found in holy text..it was mammamoites that revived in Andalusia under Muslim Rule..he used the Arabic Grammar since it's a semitic language and for words that doesn't exist just used the Arabic word for things. Hence why so many Hebrew words are Arabic words. It's an Amazing feat since most language that die are never revived.
Dagestan was the scene of a war between the Khazars and the Arabs. Dagestani highlanders took part mainly on the side of the Khazars. Then they converted to Islam. Semender (Samandar), Biliji (Balanjar) are located near my city.
The dual monarchy of the Khazars reminds me of a similar structure among the indigenous peoples of the Americas, where a Chief/Sachem would play the ceremonial overlord role while the War Chief would mirror that of the beg/bey.

Legendary kings David the Builder and Tamar of Georgia are from Bagrationi dynasty ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bagrationi_dynasty ) not from Bagratuni dynasty ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bagratuni_dynasty ). Bagrationi dynasty was in Gerogia, Bagratuni dynastiy was in Armenia.
Interesting that you say they aren't connected, and then link two articles that both state that the modern consensus is that the Georgian dynasty was very likely a branch of the Armenian.
It is mentioned in history that the leader of Kievan Rus wanted to embrace a new religion, and the matter was between Islam and Orthodox Christianity. At first, he was inclined towards Islam, but when he learned that Islam forbids wine, he chose Christianity without hesitation.
@18:07 When did hostility in the Caliphate cause mass migration of Jews, sorry? I agree it routinely occurred in the Roman empire, but I'm curious what sources you use when you state the same for the Caliphate?
The northern part of Iran, near the Caspian Sea, remained unconquered by the Arabs for nearly 200 years after the defeat of the Sassanids. But in this video, you have shown those areas of Arab soil.
The Northern Caspian shore of Iran would be subdued around the 750s so showing it under Caliphal rule in 760 is fairly accurate. Taken from this source: The Dābūyid Ispahbads and Early 'Abbāsid Governors of Tabaristān: History and Numismatics
Man it's just insane how the Caliphate was able to fight on so many fronts simultaneously, even the Roman Empire at their peak would not have been able to sustain so many simultaneous operations. They were fighting in the Mediterranean, Iberia, Central Asia, Africa, India, Caucasus and Anatolia; not to mention the various smaller internal and border conflicts.
The romans at their peak would have been more than capable, especially considering some of the weak enemies the caliphate fought such as the visigoths, the kingdom of sindh and the divided turkic states.
Si'id reminds me of the General Antony sent to delay the Parthians while he gathered an army but then went on to defeat them with his small force. Was even awarded a triumph. Forget his name though. Edit: Publius Vintidius per comments.
I would like to share a video idea about exploring the history of the Khazar conversion to Judaism and addressing the false belief that Ashkenazi Jews are their descendants instead of the Ancient Israelites.
1300 years later the Khazar would drive the true Semites and true descendants of old Hebrew tribes (Palestinians) from their land believing their fictional narrative that they are originally from there. History is strange!

I have in my opinion a very good video/series idea it would be focused on eastern roman Italy. it will start with the battle of cannea 1018 which will be uploaded in the first of April ,further I wont contain the date of the battle and it will have as a tittle "the battle that insured roman Control of Italy" and then the series will continue covering the decline of the roman holdings in Italy until it meets with your Norman series it would be prefect your loyal subscriber -nova roma
Is it safe to say that the time when the Roman Empire, the Abbasid Caliphate and the Khazar Khaganate coexisted with each other for a period of time as some form of proto-Victorian Era?

I thought to become Jewish you have to have either Jewish blood or adopt the Jewish culture and language fully?
It's an Amazing feat since most language that die are never revived.
because khazars werent real jews following the laws
they didnt listen to the laws of the rabbis
Dagestan was the scene of a war between the Khazars and the Arabs. Dagestani highlanders took part mainly on the side of the Khazars. Then they converted to Islam. Semender (Samandar), Biliji (Balanjar) are located near my city.

Taken from this source:

Man it's just insane how the Caliphate was able to fight on so many fronts simultaneously, even the Roman Empire at their peak would not have been able to sustain so many simultaneous operations. They were fighting in the Mediterranean, Iberia, Central Asia, Africa, India, Caucasus and Anatolia; not to mention the various smaller internal and border conflicts.
This is because of faith in God
The romans at their peak would have been more than capable, especially considering some of the weak enemies the caliphate fought such as the visigoths, the kingdom of sindh and the divided turkic states.
