- This little guy was made with Lets Resin UV and 1:1 epoxy resin's. dusted with the Lets Resin intense green mica powder. Lets Resin mica powders were mixed with the UV resin.

Yes, that’s a beautiful green, that’s going to look awesome. It’s so great when you can take your time and relax while you’re doing it but, trying to do mass production is a whole different story. Oh, he's beautiful! Love the "beetle-wing" green with the bright colored designs. When I stumbled across this video, I though, how appropriate. I just discovered a tiny little wall gecko hanging out in my kitchen, which is a converted covered porch. I guess this super old house just has plenty of conduits for critters--I've found geckos, a salamander, a tarantula and yes...a snake. This little guy is so tiny, about 2 inches long so I guess he's not hurting anything. LOL, sorry for the reptile repertoire--I saw your gorgeous little lizard and just had to click!

Really beautiful. I love this mould. When I do mine, after demoulding I’ve leaned the tail up against a support whilst it’s still a bit soft so when it hardens completely the tail is standing up. Not for everyone but at least it’s a variation 😅. Love your channel ❤

I would of just brushed the mica powders on & use the micro brush in spots then use the uv resin just an idea it would of been easier on you !! New Sub you were in my feed !! Fantastic thank you. You answer the question I have long and wanted to put UV resin first and then regular resin. I wonder if you were to de-mold him a bit early and he was a bit bendy maybe you could mold him a bit so he could stand on his own or something?
You could sure try that. I've also seen where you can put a fully cured piece in hot water and it will become bendy that way to.

That is a gorgeous piece! What an awesome mold. I’ve seen lots of regular lizards that were beautifully do e but I haven’t seen a mold with so many designs in the mold itself. Can you tell us where you found him?

Beautiful end project. I agree with others, it requires LOTS of patience and time to complete yet it's worth it. One question, how long did you keep your light on after each color application? Wonder if I left mine on too long since one of the colored pieces came off while I was dusting it with the mica powder. Hopefully it will still turn out almost as beautiful as yours once I fill the mold with black resin. Thanks for sharing your work.
Thank yo Rita😊 I can't remember, maybe a minute. The thing you have to keep in mind when your dusting over a project that has cured resin or UV resin in it, is try not to brush hard enough that you break the seal it has with mold. So maybe try and not pick it up and dust it, or maybe use a softer brush. Hope this helps😍

Hello! No I don't use release sprays. I have some, but I have found that it tends to leave a film on my finished product. I have also noticed that the molds I had used it on have turned a yellowish color versus the ones I haven't. So I stopped using it.
@@resinmeup ah ok. Thank you. I had bought some yesterday, but most of the resin videos available don't show anyone use it. I saw one person use it for her skull snowglobe, but didn't know if that was a step others did off screen or something.

Did you dry the detailed areas before adding green powder?
I used UV resin mixed with mica powder and then cured them with the uv flashlight I was using in the video. So they were 100% cured before I put the green mica powder over it. I hope Im explaining it so it makes sense.
