So a quick tip: if you don't like how the magnet moved the gel, then use the gel brush to spread it back out and try again! Since it isn't polish, it wont cure until it goes under the light. You can play around and get and effect you like. Also, they make a lot of magnets specifically for cat eye polishes, so it might be worth looking into those if people want to make these a lot. Some even pull the magnetic stuff into shapes like flowers and hearts. Like 10+ years ago when I was really into regular nail polish, it was pretty popular to use them on glass cabochons and put them into jewelry. This is like the upgraded version of that! 😂

With the gel polish, you can just give it a 10 second flash cure as you’re doing multiple colours. Then when you are finished you give it a full cure. It will save you so much time

To save your black polish, why not put black in your resin and put a thin layer on your mold. Then you can put the cat eye over it and it will still work. And yes there are many different magnets just for cat eye polishes, Even one with many lines on it so you don't have to do it multiple times
